Brendan Schaub vs. Lavar Johnson

Round 1:
Jason Herzog is the referee in charge. Both fighters open orthodox. Schaub scores double unders off a failed takedown, but uses it to score one anyway. He's working from Johnson's half guard. Schaub tries to lock up an anaconda choke as Johnson tries to stand and nearly gets it, but Johnson finds a way out of it. Johnson manages to find a way to his feet and trips Schaub to the mat. Schaub uses a heel hook attempt to reverse control and now he's back on top in half guard.

Round 2:
The two clinch immediately and Johnson fires hard shots to the body. Schaub hits a knee tap and is back on top in half guard. Referee Herzog stands them up due to a lack of activity. Johnson stuffs a takedown and misses with two huge uppercuts. Knee to the body lands for Schaub as does the blast double. Schaub moves to half guard, but isn't doing much else on top.

Round 3:
Schaub tries to clinch and eats an uppercut. Schaub, however, takes Johnson to the mat again. Referee Herzog stands them up for a lack of activity. Johnson charges forward and misses with a punch, so Schaub gets behind him and takes him down like a matador. The referee stands them back up, but Schaub finds himself on top again. He doesn't really do much before the round is over.

Brendan Schaub def. Lavar Johnson via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
