Round 1:
Belcher misses on a head kick and connects on a low kick. Then lands a high kick and follows with a low. Belcher goes for another high kick, but slips, and is back to his feet. Okami pushes Belcher back toward the cage. He bodylocks Belcher and lands a knee to the midsection. Midway through the round, Okami goes for a clinch, but Belcher ends up on top. Another scramble ends with Belcher guillotining Okami, but Okami pops out. Belcher keeps Okami pretty much tied up. Okami maneuvers to side control. Belcher works his way back to his knees as the round ends.

Round 2:
An early scramble ends up with Okami in Belcher's half-guard. This is pretty much looking like their 2006 fight so far. Midway through the round, Okami still in Belcher's half-guard, but unable to do much with it. The referee stands them, midway through the round. Belcher fans a font kick and Okami lands a left, which backs Belcher into the fence. Okami works for the takedown and eventually gets it. We're back to Okami in Belcher's half guard. Another standup in the closing seconds.

Round 3:
Belcher drops Okami in the opening seconds, but Okami's right back to his feet. They clinch along the fence and Okami goes for a trip, but Belcher ends up on top. Okami rolls and Belcher gets his back. Okami gets to his feet, but he's carrying Belcher. Okami scrambles out, but ends up in a standing guillotine, which Belcher takes to the ground. Okami pops out of the choke. Two minutes left. Okami resumes smothering Belcher. Same deal with a minute left. Okami finally starts throwing a few punches. Belcher turns over and Okami ends up on Belcher's back. Belcher lands a big elbow late, but that's it.

Yushin Okami def. Alan Belcher via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
