I have seen a thumb like that. It looked almost unreal.
One of the weirdest, most shocking things I have seen was a young guy who got his hands caught in a machine that bends/shapes metal. His hands were crushed into the shape. No skin broken but perfectly shaped (very oddly shaped). It looked like something you would see on a cartoon.
