, which is what Companies who change contracts have to do...a change in contract if its not immediately okayed by an employee can not take place for twelve weeks after the warning of intention.
When his Twelve Weeks is up he will then get paid for the holidays of the year he hasnt used, AND get whats called Statutory Redundancy Pay which is a penalty the company have to pay because in this case the change of contract is actually an annulment of the contract.
We have laws, labor contracts, and things like that here, too. You take one example and act like it is the norm here. It's not.
