Brian Stann vs. Michael Bisping

Round 1:
An early exchange leads to a clinch and a positional battle along the fence, as the two switch position several times. They break about a minute in and end up in center Octagon. Stann throwing single punches and catches Bisping flush on the face. Bisping connects with a straight left. Bisping with a takedown attempt. Goes for it tenaciously, pushes Stann against the fence, they bounce off, Bisping goes for a trip, doesn't get it. Bisping does connect with a solid elbow off the break, though. Inside leg kick by Bisping connects to the groin, but Stann fights through it. Wild exchange ensues. This time, Bisping eats a low blow. Back to action, just over a minute left. Close round. Bisping with a left. Bisping with a single leg, doesn't get the takedown, and Stann nails Bisping with a big right hand in the closing seconds.

Round 2:
Bisping goes for a takedown about 30 seconds in. Stann resists the initial attempt, but Bisping scoops him up and registers a slam. Bisping gets into side control, but Stann rolls out of it, reverses and puts Bisping on his back. Stann in Bisping's guard. Bisping working for a triangle but doesn't get it. Stann says he got thumbed in the eye, but while he talks to referee Josh Rosenthal, Bisping pounces. The two are back on their feet with two minutes left. Bisping's left jab finds a home when he uses it. Bisping with another takedown in the final minute. Bisping workds for a Kimura but doesn't get it.

Round 3:
The fighters exchange leg kicks. Bisping once again effectively uses his jab to set up his takedown. Stann gets back to his feet. One minute in. Bisping makes a half-hearted takedown attempt. Back to center Octagon midway through. Stann cut under his left eye. Stann's big right hand hasn't found a home since late in the first round. Stann sprawls another takedown attempt. They're clinched along the cage. Another Bisping takedown. Stann back up. Stann with a late flurry.

Michael Bisping def. Brian Stann via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
