Jimmy, maybe you could post some positive articles in between (because this many in a row is a little depressing).
It's always a real loss when a artist dies; it seems like a tragedy but these fine people are in their 60's and 70's so not really unexpected.
I'm not being critical of you, these are some of my idols as well and I want to know what's happening in the music world. Just tell me to buzz off if I'm out of line!
Anyway, I didn't even recognize Levon in the linked article. I loved the Band's music and was always impressed with him - being a drummer
and singer. Not to mention he was a very good actor and had several movie credits - "Coal Miner's Daughter" for one.
When I think of Levon, I picture Scorsese's "The Last Waltz" and
Up on Cripple Creek.
I didn't know he had been suffering with cancer for the last 14 years. I'll say some prayers for his ease and comfort.
