Some of the comments I've read say, "That's their job. That's what they would normally do anyway." But the difference is their intent. There's a difference between what's considered doing your job in trying to stop the other team from advancing with the ball and scoring, and from getting paid money to injure and take out the quarterback. Sounds more like a thug or a hitman.
