I think that is definitely it. Even if his brother is a good fighter, and even if Junie proves to be a great fighter, those antics were really holding the sport back from being widely viewed as a respectable professional sport.
This season has an Olympic wrestler coaching against a Englishman, whose relative once held the title of Count, this season (as it is a show that is free on cable television that airs every week and is heavily advertised) has the potential to give those unfamiliar with the sport a reputable first impression, and could erase the bad taste that has remained from other TUFs.
Rivalries and competitions are one thing. Upper deckers and semen-sushi is another.
