I benched 61 reps of 80lbs the other day. Standard YMCA bench press test which put me at the "excellent" rating for age (35).
I haven't benched much in awhile but normally I would begin with 225 and work my way down to 195. I weigh 160lbs. My 1RM (repetition maximum) is 250. My goal is to get to 100 lbs over, so 260.
I think I'm pretty strong overall, but stick to push ups for chest and wide grip chin ups for back.
