Sorry, I forgot who I was writing to!
Here's the simple version: John Williams & all other composers saw how awesome Mars was & stole from it. Same way that GSP & all other WWs saw how awesome Matt's wrestling & GnP were so they stole from it.
Even if you don't like, at least appreciate it for being the original.
