Growing up in church I always heard the saying Jesus is the Rock on which people break. It wasn't until I was an adult and realized that if we are Jesus' hands, feet ... etc to the world then Christ in us is also what people break on. Many people keep their faith to themselves because they have been inconvenienced by peoples reactions to God. I've said it a million times on here and in real life what I admire about Matt is his honesty with the public about his life and faith. Doesn't claim to be perfect, but does always try to do right.
What may have been a temporary bad situation for Matt, turned out to be an eternal life changing event for this young guy and in turn his whole family.
Where would any of us be without grace.
