You can easily transition between those 2 specialties at least. I'm kind of stuck with OB type nursing (antepartum, L&D, or post partum) now since I've been doing it for so long. I could always go back and do med surg but I'd rather slit my wrists first.
I'm actually getting moved into management before long it looks like though. I need to get back to school and get my masters. My employer will pay tuition reimbursement after another year of service. I'm looking at getting a masters in health care administration.
