URGENT Prayer request - 2 young girls stabbed

Sorry to ask again but I'm calling on my FB family to please pray for the nieces of a friend of mine who were brutally stabbed in a random act of cruelty. The 2 girls are only 12 and 15 years old with one of them currently on a ventilator (she was stabbed 10 times!). Thanks in advance!!!

A woman and her two nieces are in critical condition undergoing treatment for stab wounds after a bizarre incident this morning in Fort Smith. [Click the video box to hear the 911 calls].

Police say Paul Jacob Stiles, 28, has been arrested in the attack that happened shortly before four o'clock.

Stiles reportedly went to an apartment complex on Boston Avenue looking for a man named "Marvin" who lived in an upstairs unit.

After reportedly knocking on several apartment doors, he went downstairs and knocked on the front door of Kimberly Hunt, 43, telling her that he needed gas and to use the phone.

According to Misty McGhee, the mother of the injured girls, Stiles also offered to help with her vehicle that was stuck in the mud next to the apartment and told her to wait at the vehicle.

She told police after waiting about 30 minutes, Stiles came out of the apartment and appeared out of breath, commenting that he would have to help with her vehicle some other time. McGhee then went back to the apartment and found her two daughters, aged 12 and 15, and Hunt, had been stabbed. McGhee and a third child inside the apartment were not hurt in the incident.

Police say both girls were stabbed several times and the 15-year-old had to be flown to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock for treatment.

Police found Stiles at a house nearby and took him into custody. At first he was only charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He also had an outstanding warrant from Crawford County. After police interviewed Stiles, he was also charged with two counts of first degree battery and one count of second degree battery.

He is being held at the Sebastian County Detention Center without bond.

FORT SMITH, Ark. -- A man is in custody in Fort Smith, accused of stabbing a woman a 15-year old girl and a 12-year-old girl.
The stabbing happened in the 1300 block of Boston Avenue in Fort Smith Tuesday morning.

Police said Paul Stiles went to an apartment complex on Towson looking for someone who lives on the top floor. That person was not there, so police said Stiles went downstairs where the women live. Police said Stiles stabbed Kimblery Hunt and two Roland High School students and then left.

"I was asleep, I have no idea," said the girls' mother, Misty McGhee. "Oh God! I don't know."

Stiles may have known Hunt, and that is why she opened the door for him, police said.

Kaliegha Ricks, 12-year-old stabbing victim.

Kaliegha Ricks, 12, and Lakayla Huff, 15, were taken by air ambulance to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Ricks was being treated but injuries don't seem serious, police said. Police said Huff has serious injuries to the neck.

The parents said they have spoken with the girls, and they seem like they will survive. They suffered wounds on their hands, knees, chests and necks.

Stiles was taken into custody while hiding in a home nearby. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree battery and one count of second-degree battery. Police said no weapon has been recovered.

Adasia Ricks, 10, was also home at the time but was not injured.

What a bizarre story! It sounds like he was out of his gourd on meth. I'm so sorry for your friends, RD, how horrible, the poor girls. Will definitely pray...

This is a crazy story. Someone needs to end that guy.

Will say prayers for them Rock... I hope the girls and their aunt make a full recovery in every way from this awful attack. And I really hope that guy gets the maximum!

No new news to report, but wanted to thank everybody for the prayers! I saw the cousin and uncle at the dojo yesterday and they are in good spirits.

I will pray about this too :)
