Deer
 

This is a deer I shot this weekend on opening weekend.

Many of you know I coach football down here in Texas. We made the playoffs which limits my hunting, but that is fine cause I love winning and football. My deer lease is an hour from house & work. After watching film on Saturday I was able to sneak a hunt in that evening and be able to get back home early sunday to watch more film.

Been seeing this deer on game cameras. Got into deer blind around 4:15, started reading the book The Lone Survivor (great book), then fell asleep and woke up around 6:15 and saw a spike out by my feeder. Five minutes later this guy walked out.
