CompuStrike: Penn vs. Fitch

2 Attachment(s)
Proof that Fitch was robbed. 214/255 strikes vs. 24/48 strikes? Are you kidding me?

Like I was telling my friends last night, Round 3 was bad enough it could have been 10-7 for Fitch. Look at that! BJ had 0/1 strikes, 0 everything else while Fitch had 134/159 strikes land and got 1 takedown (what happened to takedown #2?).

Fightmetric also had fitch winning ... i am cool with the draw ... i think if GSP beats shields ... which he will, he will move up to MW and these two will have a title shot for the belt .. kinda sad as the ww champ would basically be given the belt by gsp

That would be exciting, they could call it "The Leg Hugger vs. the Body Hugger".

But the UFC doesn't score the fight as a whole, it's round by round. Now, if CompuStrike or FightMetric would have shown a clear 2nd end in favor of Fitch, then I can agree with the argument of him being robbed. Otherwise, I think the judges got it right.

Also, when was the last time anyone got a 10-7 rnd? Honestly, even when GSP dominated BJ for 4 straight rounds like that, it was never a 10-7.

you gotta show the fight round by round.

The only proof here is that stats mean precisely ...... dick.

fightmetric shows the fight round by round .. they had fitch winning a close second, although BJ won the grapple portion of the second ... fitch won the striking and overall in the second ...

How could you be cool with the draw???? That was Fitch's fight. Theirs been closer fights that don't go to a draw.

that second round was close and because 10-8 rounds aren't an exact science, i can see the judges awarding that round 10-9 to fitch ...

i had it 10-9 penn
10-9 fitch
10-8 fitch .. but i am not a judge

i also had leonard garcia beating nam phan .. LOL ..
