Anyone else deeply impressed by his victory. That was a huge win over Evan Dunham who is top calibre fighter.

Melvyn whilst not everyone cup of tea is ultimately an exciting fighter and the boy can bang. With hands like he has he really does pose a frightening propasistion.

I would fancy him to mash up Gray and Edgar potentially, hell even BJ Penn. His explosivness is unparrelled.

The fact he is working with Joe Daddy and the best camp out there one can't help but suspect he has fixed he floundering ground game. The fact he got to his feet against Dunham perhaps showed that.

I am real excited for him.

i still think he has a way to go before challenging guys like gray and frankie .. i think they take him down and sub him ... he is only 27 and has only been at jackson's for a bit ... so give him time ... i don't see him being champ, but i do see him getting a title shot ... i was glad to see him pound the hell out of dunham though .... LOL

Very impressed, yes! If he can get 2 wins against somebody like Florian, Maynard, Sherk, etc., then I'd say he deserves a title shot.

What does this mean?

It means, when Melvin has his head on straight, he is VERY tough to beat.

Agreed, he's going to be a huge handful for anybody at 155. In his past few fights, I haven't heard him talking cocky but confident and mentioning the good in his opponents. I'd say he's reached the level where his maturity has caught up with his talents, and his trainers are helping him apply everything properly. Good luck to anybody in his way. I believe he will be champ within 2 years.
