Is the deer stand elevated off the ground? I didn't know if he was just taking it out to the woods like that or not.

They were moving them out of the garage so they could be painted (I got to do the painting):

Then they were taken out to the farm and put up about 10-12 feet off the ground.

Wow, those are the best painted deer stands ever :w00t: Even though I don't agree with the deer stands use.Where is the challenge boys? How can you call yourselves "hunters" when it's basically "lay and prey"? :unsure-1:

Because it's cold outside! You stay warmer, but you're essentially in a box on stilts, which is much harder to camoflauge. So there is a trade off.

Why the stilts then? Don't want to get dirty either?:laugh: No really, why the stiltz?

Elevated position allows you to see more of your surroundings and whats coming and going.

So pretty much more cheating then? You guys call yourselves hunters? :unsure-1:
