Olympic Boxing hopeful from my hometown

With the USA National Championships starting up this week I was reading up on the preliminary fights and I came across a fighter who happens to be from my hometown of Joliet IL, and graduated from the same high school as me. He won his first preliminary fight yesterday at 152 pounds.

Alex Martin

Here is an article from the Chicago Tribune that they actually just posted today, but I came across his name over on Boxingscene.com http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...8.story?page=1

I always gotta support the guys from Crest-Hill/Joliet, so here's to seeing Martin make it to the 2012 Olympic Games! :)
