Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum here. I'm excited to be a part of the forum as I'm a HUGE Matt Hughes and MMA fan! Here's a little info about me

Name: Mike....probably figured that out from the screen name lol

Age: 25...almost 26....

I'm married with a beautiful 16 month old daughter. I'm going to school for criminal justice, training for MMA, and I put food on the table by freelance writing.

I'm also a Christian who loves Jesus and follows Him whole heartedly.

I got into MMA just this past January and Matt was one of the first fighters I was exposed to. I thought he was just plain awesome and now that I'm addicted to MMA I consider him a legend in the sport as well as a hero to me in my faith.

Well, that's just a bit about me! Looking forward to getting to know you all. :)

Hey Mike. Welcome. A little advice for you....ignore whatever this Ben (VCU) character says about me, it's not true. :laugh:

What do you write? Is it for any specific publication or paper? Any certain topics or just life in general?

It has been awhile....

Thanks for the welcome guys! I can tell this is a cool group to talk to so I'm sure I'm going to enjoy my time here!

Amy...I write for an online media company called Demand Studios...I basically write How To guides on just about anything you can imagine. I've also had some stuff published in magazines as well. I'd love to write some fiction or at least some more magazine articles, but it's really hard to get the time going back to school, taking care of the family, and training!

Well don't mind these other yahoos. We do have fun here though. It's like a big family complete with good times, bickering, and that weird uncle who sits in the corner drinking "koolade" at the BBQs.....
