Chuck Liddell won't fight Rich Franklin at UFC 103 in Dallas, Texas.

He won't consider fighting anyone, not until sometime after April 2010, the former UFC light heavyweight champion told SI.com.

Not quite three months since Mauricio "Shogun" Rua served Liddell his second knockout loss in a row -- making it three in five fights -- the 39-year-old said Friday he plans on sitting out "for at least a year or so, just to let my head rest."

The difference is, Randy still won fights past age 40. Chuck has had the same wailing style for so long, it's not going to change. Like Rashad said, his new training was a front.

I think chuck should get a win on someone and then retire and then come back like a bat out of hell Randy style.

But can he change his fighting style enough to win or is it too late for him to retrain his mind/thinking? The way he fights with those big swinging punches leaves so much open for his opponent to walk right through and knock him out.

He needs to move to a real camp. No disrespect to the pit but Chuck is Hacks only claim to fame and it's not working out anymore.

Hack should go with Chuck to extreme couture to train with Randy. Randy will help fix Chucks habits.

ATT is nice but all the dudes there are young pups and can't relate to Chuck. I think Randy can.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like he's learning from his losses. He's doing the same-same and keeps getting the "same" result.
