Am I the only Rumble fan around here?
 

That dude has some amazing striking. IMO, a couple more top tier wins and he's in line. For whatever reason, he's never included in the discussions...

It's mostly because he hasn't really beat anyone worth mentioning before and he is fairly young and new on the scene.

He would get handled by any of the top 5 IMO. When it boils down though I put him in the top ten.

I didn't care for what he said about Matt, so I'm kinda biased. Honestly, he has massive potential with his wrestling background, striking ability, and speed - you don't see too many 170 pounders who can move like him. He's new, but I can see him being a top 10 someday if he works hard enough. Talent alone can't carry him there, ask Melvin Gulliard.

he had problems with Kevin Burns and chris lytle beat the hell out of him all but the very start.

I dont remember him having any trouble with Burns in their 2nd fight. In fact he finished Burns when Lytle could not. I like Johnson and I think he has the potential to be champ one day.

I'm optimistic about his future in the UFC but right now he's just a guy I'm watching....

I've seen power and athleticism in the UFC before... his name was Houston Alexander... and I doubt he's on anybody's top 10 list. Rumble obviously has a much, much better ground game but I'm not completely sold on him yet.
