King Richard III has been FOUND!
The stupid King Richard III, who caused the Yorkists to fail in the War of The Roses (well, they married into the Lancastrian winners) due to causing the deaths of his own Houses legitamate heirs, in order to place himself on the Throne, which angered his House so much they conspired with their arch nemesis to remove him, has been found.

He died when the two sides met after York and Lancaster both conspired against him, the lancastrians coz they wanted power, the Yorkists because he murdered three teenaged boys who should have been the true Kings...but his Body had never been recovered

They found him, in the middlands, under a carpark  serves him right

The bodies of his victims have never been recovered, and remain lost more then half a millenia later

Was he a Lannister or a Baratheon?

He WAS a Yorkist...but he stole power from the True Yorkist...a Teenaged Boy of fifteen, and his poor Mother, hid in Westminster abbey...until Richard decided to take "Care" of the boy

...and then Richard Crowned himself.

Pure Yorkist...YES...BUT...the True Yorkists hated him so much, they'd rather do deals with there Rivals...and that plot worked. Richard was killed, and a Lancastrian took the Throne...Called Tudor infact...the founder of a long Dynasty.

York was married into the family as compensation for committing treason against Richard and thus allowing Lancaster to win.

There is a movement in England known as "The Richard III Society" they believe that poor Richard was portrayed horribly, and that there is no proof he murdered Edward, or Charlie...oh...he took THREE boys in total.

Personally...I think he killed them all to take power...he killed his own family to take personal power. He wasnt the right Yorkist to rule, and his actions cost the Yorkists the war of the Roses....The White Rose of the House of York is still the Symbol for this whole Area (Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and West Yorkshire) the Red Rose is still the Symbol of the area surrounding Lancaster Known as Lancashire. The Tudor Rose has a White Rose within a Red Rose, as the two houses Merged under marriage...but in terms of the Patriarchal line...the Male line, was Lancaster...hence why the Red Rose is on the outside and biggest...and the smaller White rose inside.

York as a City and an area is still more famous and more influential ironically. But because of that, many Brits wrongly assume that either the war was won by York, or the marriage was a comming together of an ideology, a political settlement...but it wasnt, it was a condition of Lancastrian success...if York helps Lancaster beat the wrongful Yorkist King, they MUST be united with the Successful Royal House.

It was the Mother of Edward, and the Mother of Tudor, who organised this.

Yeah...who says its the men that lead the household. These two women changed History.

Sounds like a Lannister.

Then again, Renly Baratheon had his own brother killed to usurp his armies and make his grab for the Iron Throne so killing off family for power could also be a Baratheon trait. Either way, I hope the Starks prevail but it doesn't look good. Smart Money is on Daenerys Targaryen to reclaim the throne with the help of her dragons.

They had this story on the news tonight, and he sounded like a horrible human being! They showed his skeleton--his spine was curved from scoliosis. No disrespect to the dead, but that was kind of neat seeing his old bones.

A Major argument is going on in England now, as to where Richard should be formally burried and how.

One Group is saying that as he died in Leicestershire and has been burried there for more then 500 years, he should be reintured in the closest Cathedral.

But a second Group has arrisen that say that since he was the last plantagenet, the longest Dynastic House of our Monarchic past, he should be returned to where that house was based, in York, and thus be burried in York Minster, which is the seat of the second most senior clergy person in the Church of England, The Archbishop of York.

A third group are saying that, as Royalty, and as he was so crudely burried before, he is actually entitled to a State Funeral. As such he would be taken to the Highest Royal Pecculiar in the land, Westminster Abbey.

Can you imagine a State Funeral being held for a Monarch whose been dead longer then half a Millenia

There is noone around now that remembers him
