Hey dave, about your Food stamp question in the US Gov't shutdown thread.. Foodstamps refers to something resembling a credit card thats given by the government and loaded by government monthly with a certain amount depending on how much you make and how many people live in your house. The money on the card can only be used to purchase food and drink. More details at :
