Well if the group is about and for people who have met Matt I figured we should probably start a discussion about it.

I met Matt the first time with my 2 sons at his book signing in Hotlanta GA.

It was pretty cool..

I first met Matt when he came to Fairfax, VA for a UWC event. He gave me his Fighter Pass that got me all access!!

I'm still debating on if I want to join.....What's in it for me?

The first time I met him was when he was in Houston signing autographs at a Best Buy before the first GSP/Serra match. He told me I didn't post enough. But he doesn't remember meeting me then.

He remembers the other times though. Or at least he better since he is directly responsible for my sushi addiction.

The first time I've ever met Matt was a HUGE deal for me.

It was out here in Anahiem at UFC 59 during the autograph sessions. This was the first ever UFC fight that I went to, and was absorbing anything MMA like a sponge. I wasn't new to the marital arts arena, but I was fairly new to the UFC at the time.

As I was standing in line during the autograph sessions, the first person I met was none other than Mr. Hughes. He was not only the first fighter I ever met, but the first fighter autograph. After that, I moved on to meet GSP, Randy, Chuck, and Shamrock.

To this day, I cherish that autograph picture of Matt because it's the only one I have.

The first time was at the MHF karaoke party that Boomer put together. The second time was the after party for 98 (the next day).

Man, that was an awesome trip, wasn't it bro?
