well i would like to see the winner of rashad vs rampage get the shot first and then lil nog if he beats forrest (which i think he will and it would be cool to see jones fight forrest after that happens)

Jones has the ability. His ability to take guys like Vera and Hamill down proves this. Both Verra and Hamill come from very good wrestling backgrounds and Jones threw both of them around. Look how much trouble Randy had taking Vera down. Bones was 2-2 in takedown against Vera. He looked a little sloppy with leaving his right arm extended in the guard, but maybe it was only that noticible because that is all Joe Rogan kept blabbing about.

Anyways, combine Jones' wrestling and his freaky standup I think he is two victories away from a fight for the title. I think there are some veterans in line before Jones, like the winner of the Rampage v Rashad fight. Shogun already has a rematch with Machida. Also you have to take the winner of the Franklin/Couture fight into consideration. The UFC would just love to give Couture one more shot at the title, not that I would mind, but Jones has some jumping to do before he becomes the next in line to fight for the title.

I think a match between a guy like Thiago Silva, will be the next step for Jones.

i was thinking that he was leaving his arm in there as a trap ... i think he was waiting for vera to target it so he could open up for strikes .... but i could be wrong

He should face Thiago silva next.... If Randy is out of the Franklin fight maybe that would be a good night for jones too... IF he was fighting lil nog tonight his arm would be going back to Brazil though!!!

Thought it was a pretty good night of fights.

Was pleased with Jones' win over Vera (I can't put my finger on it, but I just don't care for him).

Dos Santos is the real deal!

It's cause he's from ODU. They have that effect on people.

Um he only went to ODU for a year and a half. And are you still bitter that we went to the NCAA tournament this year and you guys did not? Or maybe its cause we have a football team and you guys dont.

I know he didn't graduate, that's why I didn't call him ODU alum. The fact that he went to ODU for a year & a half means he came from ODU. That's a pretty obvious conclusion to draw, Max, try & puzzle it out if you can.

No, Max, I'm not bitter y'all went to the tourney or that you have a football team. Those are secondary. I dislike ODU simply because they're ODU, it's that simple. Same reason I dislike anything about George Mason or Richmond. Y'all are in-conference/geographic rivals. Same way that Tech & UVA/Duke & UNC/Miami & Florida & FSU hate everything about each other, point blank, no questions asked. If you try to boil it down to single events, you're missing the big picture of what makes college rivalries so much fun.

:unsure-1: or both parts of him. I heard he really injured himself during that fall...

Schafer lost by U-Dec...people say he gassed in the third after winning the first and slowing in the second.

why do you like Eric Schafer?.. Cus he talks to you on my space?

I like him for three reasons. Firstly he seems like a genuinely nice person, secondly, yes, he's interactive, unlike some fighters, and finally, He's a member of Suckerpunch Entertainment, which is a management group for Fighters...thats really why I got to find out enough about him to warrent research.

I am suprised he gassed though because I watched his crossfit work outs...I would have thought anyone capable of doing that sort of thing would have the cardio never to gas very much...crossfit has become all the rage in one part of suckerpunch... the part stemming out from Duke Roufus, and on into Virgina Beach, and Norfolk, and Richmond
