What do you take? And why?

I have never been "Serious" about supplements, but I really want to get into it and see if they really have a noticeable effect for me.

I take/have taken

NO Explode (tried some before, it was ok)
Muscle Milk (I still take this/Monster Milk) I love it.
Hydroxycut (helped me shed some trouble lbs in funky spots, worked great, but apparently killed people, and is now recalled lol)

Any tips on what to get and why would be great.
Just maybe some pre and post workout stuff.
Nothing too crazy.

This place here in Bloomington IL has been advertising this stuff called 5 Deckasaw, i'm not sure if that is how you spell it or not. They say if you gain 20 lbs of muscle in less then 3 weeks to call them and have them adjust your amount.

I've tried quite a few.

Muscle Milk (or most whey protein shakes) will help if you're lifting a lot.
Creatine will help you bulk up.

Most other legal supplements do nothing, or almost nothing.

NoXplode gives you "energy" because it's loaded with caffiene. You could get the same "pump" from an energy drink. However, too much caffiene is bad so I'd try to avoid it.

I tried so called testosterone boosters, hgh (all legal stuff, not prescription or black market) and others but never really saw a difference.

Bloomington, IL has one of the nicest municipal golf courses I've ever played on. If you golf, you're lucky to live there.
