A craftsman in Germany constructed a full-size teak replica of a 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing. Whatís even more awesome? Itís for sale (http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260991758860&clk_rvr_id=329611071723).

Oops. I guess that "cart" is actually a T-Top.

I think you're looking at the doors. They open upwards.
Unless I'm missing what you're talking about.

It is really cool and he definitely is a craftsman, but I was thinking the same thing; maybe he got a wild hair and wanted to see if he could do it. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the useful stuff he's crafted; I bet it's just as beautiful.

Yeah, the doors! I thought that was what you called those doors that lifted up. :ashamed:

Cars are a man thing (in general). As you can see, I'm an ignoramus about them. I just want something dependable to get me from point A to point B. :)

Now that I have a kid and a wife to support, I feel the same way. I still have my truck but I bought a Scion for about $4K to do most of my running around because it saves me a lot on gas. It's not cool, not fast and rides like a go-kart, but it saves money and that's all that matters.
