All My Finches have died

Last week...and no it wasnt because of the cold :rolleyes:

Bonnie the Zebra finch had an accident in the shed overnight because there was no light and it was too dark and she didnt know her way around well enough

and Mike the society finch committed suicide. He was stressed and unhappy about the moves, he'd always been nervous, wouldnt come out of the shed for days...he was found floating outside in his drinking water...which was not deep enough for him to even really wash in :blink:

I'm so sorry, Dave, I know they meant a lot to you. :cry: It sounds like you did everything possible to make this move the least stressful for them that you could (including having that special aviary built for them).

I hope you will be able to get one of those beautiful Java sparrows.

It was really hard because it happened right over my thirtieth birthday and housewarming... :unsure-1:

You will be glad to know that, Yes, my budgies are fine...although Jens has been diagnosed with a condition known as hypothyroidism...the vets say a different diet should help him. :)
