If true, more proof WWE > UFC in real fights

March 17, 2009
DETROIT, MI - Former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Tim Sylvia was involved in a fight at a bar in downtown Detroit Michigan with 7 foot, 320 pound WWE Superstar, Glen 'Kane' Jacobs (pictured above).

No details are currently being released on how the fight started. A witness says the two were arguing and Tim Sylvia instigated the fight. Jacobs quickly took Sylvia to the ground and repeatedly punched him in the face. The bartender along with a bystander helped pull Jacobs off Sylvia. Sylvia was said to have suffered a broken nose and a black eye.

The police were notified but since the fight was not prolonged and neither men wanted to press any charges, no arrests were made. Sylvia was driven by a friend who was with him to the hospital to treat the broken nose. Glen Jacobs left the scene with his wife shortly after.

I actually saw a real fight/Competition video thing with Cain in Japan before he was a pro wrestler on Youtube, so I guess it could be true. It was really old and Cain had a mullet LOL.

WWE doing pretty well against the UFC. Lesnar is champ and Kane just destroyed a former champ.

Why does everyone seem to dislike Tim so much? :unsure-1:

I'm going with bogus for now... it's not on TMZ yet and they are pretty good at picking stuff like this up....

We'll just have to wait and see...

MMALinker is not a credible source, neither is ninjashoes.

Would like to see something real.

Later.

I don't see Tim instigating a bar fight. Doesn't sound like his style. I'm calling B.S. on this one.

If he did not choke-slam Tim, then I doubt it was the real Kane.

Seriously though, I would laugh my ass off if this story turns out to be true.

Who remembers when the WWF first introduced Kane? Of all the corny story-lines they have done over the years, Kane has been one of the best. They ruined him when they unmasked him and gave him a microphone IMO.

I don't know if it is true or not. I do however like Tim.

The funniest part is how they smeared his face with black paint in a lame attempt to keep the story going that his face had been burned in a fire.

Every mma forum has a link about this to yet another forum.Obviously just a rumor because the first post I'd seen was from 3 days ago. If it were true don't you think we'd see more then just other forums posting about it? I say it didn't happen:doh:

A person on another forum was saying something to the extent of "it's not true because Kane was in another town" or something like that. I know that does not automatically de-bunk the story, but it definitely raises some red-flags.

Turns out this was indeed FALSE, Kane said in an interview that it never happened. But if it would have happened it would look like this...

Kane said this was false 3 days ago. Funny how rumors just pop up. Maybe to give Lashley some credibility. Which turn out he did not need it when he beat Guida.
