Here's MiddleEasy's account:

I try my hardest everyday to 'like' Junie Browning. Every day he doesn’t end up in the news is another day I feel closer to that goal. It’s been a long time, almost long enough for me to feel comfortable enough to hit the “Like” button on his fan page, but then he drops this in his Facebook status and we’re right back to where we started:
Wow what a helluva weekend, Some (expletive) named Sie Menzies and about 10 of his friends started a fight with me. I guess just to test a ‘UFC fighter guy’ at his (expletive) little bar in Karon Thailand. Had a beer bottle and glass mug shattered on my head, then to make everything better, stabbed severely by some crazy Thai (expletive). On a positive note, I managed to break a few orbital bones, at least a couple jaws, and some unconscious bodies laying on the ground before I blacked out from loss of blood and apparently had to be resuscitated in the ambulance. So, how was your weekend?
According to police reports, the former TUF hopeful was seen beating up on a woman at the bar. He also allegedly attacked Thai female staff when they tried to stop him. Tourists who tried to contain Junie apparently also caught punches & kicks, but that’s only how the drama started. It continued in the hospital where Junie allegedly resumed fighting with the same people in the emergency ward of Patong Hospital in Phuket, Thailand.

I assure you, this is not the same story we posted 2 years ago of when Junie Browning was attacking nurses at the hospital (http://middleeasy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=775:junie-browning-attacks-nurses-threatens-to-rape-a-chick-and-gets-fired-from-the-ufc&catid=36:fighters), an incident which ultimately cost him his job with the UFC. He even apologized for it (http://middleeasy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=806:junie-browning-makes-a-video-to-let-nurses-across-america-know-its-alright&catid=34:organizations). This is an entirely new tale in the ‘chronicles of Junie Browning’. Currently, Junie is on the run from police in what has turned into a citywide manhunt in Phuket – a place tourists and Muay Thai fighters from around the world come to enjoy year-round. Not sure what the ramifications of this incident will be just yet, but we’ll keep you posted as details arise. I guess I'd say a waste of potential, Javier.MMA is the least of his worries.

I often wonder if God puts people in the public spotlight for a reason.

It's not to grant them excess riches and fame, its to USE them for his glory.
Without being there people wouldn't know they exist. It is BETTER Junie suffer here and find Christ - than never find Christ and suffer eternity in Hell.

Prayer, above all things is what matters for this kid. Pray Christ will overcome Junie's demons for him and draw him unto him.

More from MMAMania.com:

Back on Dec. 13, we brought word of an International manhunt that was underway for exiled UFC fighter Junie Browning (http://www.mmamania.com/2011/12/13/2633224/an-international-manhunt-is-underway-for-exiled-ufc-fighter-junie), who was being sought by Phuket police in Thailand for his participation in a bar-room brawl that carried over to a local hospital.

Well, it seems the fuzz isn't the only one chasing "The Lunatik."

The former Ultimate Drinker Fighter took to his Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/people/Junie-Allen-Browning/513709446) today (via Bloody Elbow (http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2011/12/15/2638318/junie-browning-phuket-brawl-update-browning-gives-his-side-of-the)) to beg the U.S. Embassy for help in extracting him from Phuket before the "Mafia" can discover his whereabouts and "kill him."

Im officially the biggest American patriot there is now. These other primitive countries are all about money, mafia and corrupt law enforcement. Regardless what you believe I never touched a female in theses events that occurred and my girlfriend was there from start to finish to vouch. Hitting Thai women was an excuse for them to demonize me and get some baht out of me. You all don't understand with my name, people will use it against me. I acted like an idiot on a reality show for publicity so they are using that against me. Im sorry and I care about people more than you thank and I appreciate all the support from the intelligent people that understand that these primitive countries are trying to kill me ( Literally ) . I need help BAD! please call the US Embassy in my regards. Thank you very much everyone. Apparently in the news story I fled the scene in the hospital before the police got there. It's obvious by this picture that the police were already there. It wasn't until hours later my girlfriends and my phone were flooded with phone calls saying that the Thai mafia were headed to the hospital to kill me did we leave. We understood that it is a very corrupt place so we had to flee and get in contact with the US Embassy. Funny how cropping a photo changes the whole story.

Seal Team Six, where you at?

It should be noted that following the initial brawl, Browning was bragging about how many orbital bones he shattered, jaws he broke and bodies he left on the streets of Phuket (http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/823984/junie-facebook-2.jpg).
Now? Not so much.

Could it be "The Lunatik" is not as gangster as we originally thought? And who's in favor of a covert ops mission to retrieve him?

In a follow-up post on his Facebook wall, a woman believed to be Junie’s girlfriend supported the story with some gory details of her own (http://boydphukettopteam.wordpress.com/2011/12/14/the-thing-with-junie-browning/):

“The Thai government is so corrupt! For anyone out there that knows the story about what is going on with Junie Browning (http://wiki.cagepotato.com/index.php/Junie_Browning), it is not true!
When two men get into an argument it should stay between them. 15 guys jumped on top of Junie and smashed his head in with glass bottles and beer mugs. I had to throw myself on top of his body while he gargled blood and they continued to kick him. Then even after… he lay unconscious some Thai girl stabs him!!!

If you know me then you know I would not make this up. I was there from start to finish.

Then you take all the guys from the brawl into the same room in the hospital? What do you expect to happen? Listen, this is not the USA this is Thailand. The country revolves around money and the mafia DOES exist. When you get a phone call saying that there is a price on your boyfriends head and if they find you they will kill you too just to get to him you run.

Manhunt launched for Phuket MMA brawler

An image of Junie Browning that appears on his Facebook page.

PHUKET: American Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Junie Browning is the subject of an island-wide manhunt following two brawls in Phuket on Sunday and his subsequent escape from Patong Hospital.

The manhunt was launched following local media reports that an unnamed American man had been involved in a brawl at a bar in Karon.

The man then continued fighting with several foes at Patong Hospital, where all the people involved in the fracas had been sent for treatment. He later escaped the facility and has not been seen since.

The identity of the man has now been confirmed as Junie Allen Browning, a 27-year-old originally from Lexington in the US state of Kentucky.

Tianchai Duangsuwan of the Chalong Police told the Gazette this morning, “We have searched everywhere, but we still haven’t found him. I have heard that he was at one boxing stadium in Chalong, but we couldn't find him there.”

The search has now been expanded outside of Chalong Police District, which covers the south of the island. Mr Browning’s Facebook page lists his current place of residence as Thalang, the district that covers the north.

Lt Tianchai confirmed that Immigration Police have been contacted and are closely monitoring Immigration checkpoints at both Phuket International Airport and the land checkpoint at Tah Chat Chai.

An MMA insider on the island told the Gazette that Mr Browning had an anger management problem that worsened considerably when he drank alcohol.

“This does not shock me at all. I was just waiting for him to screw up and get caught. It’s really too bad. When sober he can be a really nice guy, and he is a very talented fighter when he applies himself,” said the source.

Browning, who once appeared in the reality TV series The Ultimate Fighter, is known to have been in training at a long-established Muay Thai camp in Chalong. However, he has not appeared at the camp in months, a source there confirmed.

According to a report on the MMA Weekly website, Browning posted an update on his Facebook page after the alleged brawl.

“Wow what a helluva weekend,” wrote Browning “Some [expletive] named Sie Menzies and about 10 of his friends started a fight with me. I guess just to test a ‘UFC fighter guy’ at this [expletive] little bar in Karon, Thailand. Had a beer bottle and glass mug shattered on my head, then to make everything better, stabbed severely by some crazy Thai [expletive].

“On a positive note, I managed to break a few orbital bones, at least a couple jaws, and (left) some unconscious bodies laying on the ground before I blacked out from loss of blood and apparently had to be resuscitated in the ambulance. So, how was your weekend?”

Browning has run afoul of the law before, MMA Weekly reported.

In 2009, he was arrested after taking a handful of pills in an alleged suicide attempt, before assaulting several nurses at a local Las Vegas hospital.

The brawl in Karon also reportedly involved his attacking some female bar staff.

However, Browning adamantly denied this in his most recent Facebook posting, which reads:

“Apparently in the news they are saying their were women involved, that is 100% a croc of sh*t! The only women involved was a Thai women friend of theirs that sliced my forearm open with a 6-inch blade. At no point was any women involved. Even at the hospital I was nothing but polite to every member of their staff. Not until a little birdy told me that the person that hit me with the mug was in the next room did I explode. I immediately sprinted over there and knocked him unconscious with one blow. Phuket law enforcement are very corrupt and apparently the guys that jumped me know more people than I do. I have multiple stitches over my head and body, you don’t have to be [expletive] Stephen Hawkins to realize a women did not do this to me.”

Phuket 'Lunatic' on the Loose, or How the Native Lost its Head

By Alan Morison and Sert Tongdee
Wednesday, December 14, 2011

PHUKET: A police alert continued on Phuket today for an American celebrity fighter known as ''The Lunatic'' after he brawled his way from a bar through a hospital emergency ward and out into the night.

While Junie Allen ''The Lunatic'' Browning has been updating his Facebook page with his version of Sunday's events, a steady stream of victims have also been giving Phuket police their own accounts of what took place at the Native Bar in Patak Road in Karon, a popular seaside district of Phuket.

It would be hugely stretching the truth, though, to describe the Phuket police interest in Browning, 27, as a manhunt.

Throwing punches in a bar or even a hospital does not bring a massive police reaction in most places, let alone on a casual holiday island like Phuket.

Even when there's an alleged killer on the loose, as was the case a year back with Lee ''Pitbull'' Aldhouse, another Thai boxing brawler, the word manhunt is a bit of a stretch.

No, a police alert is about as strong as it gets on Phuket, short of a hunt for murder suspects.

What it means is that Mr Browning would be unwise to try to fly off Phuket, and he might even get caught if he tries to ride off the island through the northern Tachatchai checkpoint exit, where expats are not usually looked at twice.

Mr Browning's comments on Facebook were also more corrections than taunts, as if the former cage fighter wanted to prop up his imaginary legend by dismissing claims that he struck a woman or two on Phuket, even if they happened to have struck him first.

Meanwhile, a procession of complaints began yesterday at Chalong Police Station, in southern Phuket, from those who had recovered from the brawl at the Native Bar.

Foremost among them was Sukanya Sisomboon, 25, who owns the bar. She told police she wanted Mr Browning to pay for the damage. No doubt there are a few broken chairs as well as the cuts and bruises.

Three Australians also lodged complaints at Chalong Police Station: Younis Essamelain, 27, Gear Smits, 68, and Simon Wilson Menzies, 32, who may or may not be the same Simon Wilson Menzies who allegedly sparked a bomb scare on an aircraft back in April.

Still in Patong Hospital recovering today was an American, Castro Mury, 32, who appears to have had more attention from Mr Browning than most.

Despite Mr Browning's Facebook denials, the gist of the happenings at the Native Bar in Phuket's Karon district was that Mr Browning was beating up on his female friend, and that a succession of bar staff and tourists interceded, and he proceeded to deal with them.

Apparently a man with few alternatives beyond physical violence, Mr Browning dealt with the same people again at Patong Hospital, where the Phuket bar's brawlers were all taken with bruises and breaks.

Since Sunday, the only place that Mr Browning has been spotted is on his Facebook page, where he delivered not one but two messages in the wake of the Phuket shake.

"Wow what a helluva weekend,'' Browning wrote in his first post. ''Some [expletive] named Sie Menzies and about 10 of his friends started a fight with me. I guess just to test a 'UFC fighter guy' at this [expletive] little bar in Karon, Thailand. Had a beer bottle and glass mug shattered on my head, then to make everything better, stabbed severely by some crazy Thai [expletive]. On a positive note, I managed to break a few orbital bones, at least a couple jaws, and (left) some unconscious bodies laying on the ground before I blacked out from loss of blood and apparently had to be resuscitated in the ambulance. So, how was your weekend?''

Less droll and perhaps more sober was the second posting of the fighter who was a regular performer at a Friday night stadium on Phuket:

''Apparently in the news they are saying their were women involved, that is 100% a croc of [expletive]! I have multiple stitches over my head and body, you don't have to be [expletive] Stephen Hawkins to realize a women did not do this to me.''

Phuket Police Captain Teanchai Dungsuwan, who is leading the investigation and keen to talk with Mr Browning, believes his man is probably still on Phuket.

Mind you, they thought the same about ''Pitbull'' Aldhouse, until he turned up at an airport in Britain.

Phuket ( /puːˈkɛt/; Thai: ภูเก็ต [pʰūː.kèt]), formerly known as Thalang (Tha-Laang) and, in Western sources, Junk Ceylon (a corruption of the Malay Tanjung Salang, i.e. "Cape Salang"),[2] is one of the southern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighbouring provinces are (from north clockwise) Phang Nga and Krabi, but as Phuket is an island it has no land boundaries.

Phuket, which is approximately the size of Singapore, is Thailand’s largest island. The island is connected to mainland Thailand by two bridges. It is situated off the west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. Phuket formerly derived its wealth from tin and rubber, and enjoyed a rich and colorful history. The island was on one of the major trading routes between India and China, and was frequently mentioned in foreign ship logs of Portuguese, French, Dutch and English traders. The region now derives much of its income from tourism.

Surrender Now, Phuket Fugitive Fighter Advised by US Warden

By Alan Morison and Chutima Sidasathian
Saturday, December 17, 2011

PHUKET: Fugitive American fighter Junie Allen ''The Lunatic'' Browning is being advised to make a telephone call for help, then to give himself up to Phuket police.

''Turn yourself in,'' American Embassy Warden on Phuket, Denny Bowman, said today. ''If someone who needs help on Phuket wants to contact me, I'd be happy to hear from them.''

Mr Browning, a celebrity in US fight circles, became the subject of a Phuket-wide police alert after brawling with staff and tourists at a local beachside bar then continuing the ruckus at a hospital before fleeing into the night on Sunday.

He is now reported to be concerned for his health on Phuket, quoted on one of several fight sites covering the saga as saying: ''These other primitive countries are all about money, mafia and corrupt law enforcement. I need help BAD! please call the US Embassy in my regards.''

Mr Bowman, a well-known American resident who has helped fellow Americans in distress in the past, volunteered today to help Mr Browning negotiate his surrender to authorities.

''In Thailand, it's best to turn yourself in,'' Mr Bowman said. ''The justice process usually looks more kindly on those who have surrendered. Penalties are usually reduced, too.''

Potential charges against Mr Browning are not known at this stage but he has been accused of striking several people at the bar and in Patong Hospital and is likely to face claims for medical treatment and damages.

''I have helped several people to deal with these kinds of issues in the past,'' Mr Bowman said today.

''We could even help to arrange for Junie to have an attorney with him when he visits a police station.''

An alert for Mr Browning extends to Phuket International Airport and border crossings out of Thailand. Police think he is probably laying low on Phuket, waiting for a more opportune moment to leave the country.

''Getting caught usually is not a good option,'' Mr Bowman said. ''Much better to surrender on Phuket and to have others involved to secure your safety.''

Versions of what transpired at the bar and in the hospital differ greatly. Mr Browning's female companion rejected suggestions that he struck her, adding her version of events on Facebook:

''The Thai government is so corrupt! For anyone out there that knows the story about what is going on with Junie Browning, it is not true!

''When two men get into an argument it should stay between them. 15 guys jumped on top of Junie and smashed his head in with glass bottles and beer mugs. I had to throw myself on top of his body while he gargled blood and they continued to kick him. Then even after he lay unconscious some Thai girl stabs him!!!

''If you know me then you know I would not make this up. I was there from start to finish.

''Then you take all the guys from the brawl into the same room in the hospital? What do you expect to happen? Listen, this is not the USA this is Thailand. The country revolves around money and the mafia DOES exist.

''When you get a phone call saying that there is a price on your boyfriends head and if they find you they will kill you too just to get to him you run.

''Junie Allen Browning did nothing but fight for his life and try to protect me. All the media and mma forums like to talk **** because it makes a good story. Get a clue!

''You like to sit on your couch at home and watch the discovery channel and think you know what it is like around the world? That's retarded! No women were involved in the fight and Junie did nothing that wasn't provoked.''

An American taken into custody by Phuket police earlier this year claimed he was handcuffed to a chair and beaten by five or six men, but a medical examination several days later could not substantiate his claim.

In Mr Browning's case, Phuket US Embassy Warden Denny Bowman is standing by, ready to help. His telephone number: 089 9733483.

He talked to mmaweeoly.com on Sunday

Former UFC lightweight Junie Browning is in hiding in fear for his life after an altercation in Thailand that left the 26-year-old fighter with multiple injuries. Injured and scared overseas, Browning is in seclusion, calling for help from the U.S. Embassy to get him back home.

Browning was involved in a bar fight on Dec. 12 in Phuket, Thailand. Reports quickly surfaced that Browning was a fugitive on the run being sought after by local authorities. Browning challenged those claims to MMAWeekly.com on Sunday.

“I was in fact the victim in this case, and it is important I am able to tell my side of the story and provide you with pictures and evidence to support it. There was an attempt to end my life and I am begging for help from the U.S. Embassy.”

The initial reports alleged that Browning fled the hospital before police arrive, but Browning provided photo evidence•that disputes those claims.

Recalling what he could from the night in question, Browning tells a different tale than was originally reported by media outlets.

“Sunday night, we arrived at a small bar in Karon with two other females, one of which was friends with the owner. It happened to be the owner of the bar’s birthday, Simon Wilson Menzies. So he was surrounded by a group of 12-15 of his closest friends who had been drinking in celebration previous to our arrival. My girlfriend and I had a few drinks, and seeing we didn’t know anyone, had decided to leave to go home. We had contacted a cab and he was on his way to meet us. He would call when he arrived. A discussion via text message with one of the girls I had arrived with resulted in MJ Castro and Simon Menzies confronting me in the street,” recalled Browning.

“MJ was screaming and swinging her hands in front of my face. I do not know why she was mad. Nothing that I had said involved her or her friends whatsoever. I assumed she was mad that we were leaving the party because we were on our way out to meet our cab. Without any notice I found myself in a physical altercation with Simon in the street.”

Browning quickly realized he was over-matched and out-numbered.

“I could tell from the moment he stepped in front of me, he was looking for a fight. At this point, it just involved me and Simon, my girlfriend standing next to us. In only a few seconds, my girlfriend was thrown across the street and I had been hit from behind in the back of the head by a glass beer bottle. I stood up looking for my attacker and found myself surrounded by a mob of people.

“It was no longer a man on man ‘bar brawl’ but a fight for my survival. I was trying to defend myself in the street when at some point I fell back to the ground. They drug me back into the bar where they pummeled me with punches and kicks. It was me against everyone. For a second time I received a mass blow over the head with a thick glass mug that split my head open and made me fall to the floor. I curled up in the fetal position, submissive, and I continued to be kicked and hit. My arms up covering my face I felt a slice to my forearm and another stab to my neck,” Browning told MMAWeekly.com.

Browning appeared on the eighth installment of The Ultimate Fighter reality series on Spike TV. He immediately became the bad boy of the season with his antics.

He was released by the organization in 2009. On Oct. 6, 2009, Browning was arrested and accused of assaulting three nurses in a Henderson, Nevada, hospital following a possible suicide attempt.

The altercation in Thailand also spilled over from the bar to the hospital, but the situations were drastically different, according to the Kentucky native.

“They began to assess my wounds and stitch up the three large gashes on my head. Without any consideration to my safety or the events that had just occurred, they placed both Menzies, accompanied by MJ Castro, and the man who had attacked me with a mug, in the beds right beside me. Needless to say, I became furious and again words were exchanged. As it escalated a second time into a physical fight… Security and Patong Police arrived and restrained all parties. I was taken into the waiting lobby on a stretcher in handcuffs in front of numerous people to finish giving me medical attention,” recounted Browning.

“At no point was I rude or uncooperative with either the medical staff or the police. Taken into consideration the severity of my wounds and my demeanor and my girlfriend’s statement, the police officer removed my handcuffs. We were told by the officer that we should stay the night in the hospital to have my head monitored and would be able to go home with no charges the next morning. It was obvious to him that I was the victim.”

Following the second altercation at the hospital, Browning began to fear for his life.

“My intentions were to file a police report in the morning and deal with this in a civil manner. Hours later, my phone began to ring with numerous reliable sources stating that we were not safe and we needed to leave now! They said that local Thais and mafia had a price on my head and were headed to the hospital and both my girlfriend and my life were at risk. We were told to trust or talk to no one and to just leave. We are aware that the mafia is a real thing and took this very seriously. We panicked and decided that our best option was to escape in the middle of the night and hope we could make it home,” he said.

“My girlfriend pulled out my IV and jumped a fence to find a taxi to come pick me up. When one arrived, I jumped in and we headed home to pack. Two friends came banging on the door, which we didn’t answer for fear of who it might be. They continued to bang on the windows until we realized who it was. We do not want to mention their names to protect them from being associated with the situation and any harm that may come to them. They said there was no time, that I needed to hide. They even mentioned that if my girlfriend was found, they would kill or harm her in attempt to find me,” he added.

On the advice of friends familiar with Thailand, Browning fled the country. He refuses to disclose his current location and•pleads the U.S. Embassy for cooperation to get him home.

Wounded and on the run, Browning is concerned about the severity of his injuries.

“To this point I have been unable to seek the medical attention that I desperately need. My vision in my right eye is impaired; I am in severe pain; I am going through fainting and dizzy spells, and have severe head trauma,“ said Browning.

“All we are asking for is help from people we can trust which brings us here now. We are victims of a viscous assault and attempt on our lives. We are seeking the assistance of the U.S. Embassy and want to clear my name of the wrong-doing I was accused of.”

From MiddleEasy.com:

Before his Thailand incident (http://middleeasy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6648:in-thailand-phuket-police-are-hunting-for-junie-browning-after-another-hospital-brawl&catid=34:organizations), the last time we mentioned Junie Browning on MiddleEasy, the guy was attacking nurses in a hospital (http://middleeasy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=775) and threatening to kill their families. On that same day, NASA blew up the moon (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2009/10/10/nasa-moon-bombing-in-a-damp-squib-115875-21736153/) so it's safe to say that there was something obviously wrong in the universe on October 7th 2009. After his hospital incident, Dana White cut Junie Browning from the UFC and then the moon waved its hands and screamed 'What about me?' Apparently the moon has never seen Alien (http://sh.yautja.net/soulhunters/layout/othermovies/a1a.jpg) because if it did, it would know that 'in space, no one can hear you scream', regardless of if you're a celestial entity. A few days later, Junie Browning issued an apology via YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/v/Q0hnVNNUH4I&feature=player_embedded)but the UFC still denied Junie and his (at the time) 4-1 record back into the organization. Since then, Junie Browning has gone 0-4 in his MMA career -- and is now being hunted by police in Phuket, Thailand. Here's a pic from Mike Swick's Twitter (http://lockerz.com/s/166026286) of the news stands in Thailand.

Here's a picture of the top of Junie Browning's head after his alleged 'bar brawl' that he's been sending to a few media outlets (http://www.phuketgazette.net/archives/articles/2011/article11741.html) today. Keep in mind that he's actively interviewing and publishing photos of himself throughout the internet, so I really don't want to hear how MiddleEasy is 'exploiting' Junie Browning. The guy is exploiting himself, and we're just republishing it. Keep your high and unrealistic morals to yourself.

Article from MMAMania.com, pics from MiddleEasy.com:

Exiled UFC fighter Junie Browning (http://www.mmamania.com/2011/12/mma/fighter/135940/junie-browning), who was being sought by Phuket police in Thailand for his participation in a bar-room brawl (http://www.mmamania.com/2011/12/13/2633224/an-international-manhunt-is-underway-for-exiled-ufc-fighter-junie) that carried over to a local hospital, turned himself over to authorities late Wednesday night (Dec. 21, 2011) after failing find his way out of the country and back to the United States.

Phuket Wan (http://phuketwan.com/tourism/fugitive-fighter-gives-himself-phuket-police-station-15206/) has it:

Junie Allen Browning visited a police station on Phuket late today in the latest twist to the American fugitive fighter's battle to tell his side of a brawl that started in a bar and continued at a local hospital. Browning's surprise appearance with his girlfriend Laura came at the Chalong Police Station in southern Phuket. At the police station at the same time were others who participated in a now-notorious Phuket brawl. The wounds inflicted in Browning's fight with tourists and staff 10 days ago at a bar on Phuket and in Patong Hospital, where the injured were all taken, were real. However, the varying accounts of what actually took place and who was the aggressor leave the facts yet to be decided. It is believed Browning opted to go to police after he or perhaps his family and friends read an article in Phuketwan in which American Denny Bowman, a Phuket resident and a warden with the US Embassy, suggested that Browning ''surrender.'' None of the people involved in the brawl were held by police tonight.

"The Lunatik" was originally seeking extradition via the United States Embassy; however, his new priority became immediate medical attention to treat the wounds suffered in his attack, which left him in "severe pain" with "fainting and dizzy spells and severe head trauma." (http://www.mmamania.com/2011/12/19/2646472/wounded-and-afraid-junie-browning-pleads-his-case-from-secret)

Browning (4-5) gained notoriety for acting like a drunken hick on season eight of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). He was 1-1 following the conclusion of the Spike TV reality show but was eventually dismissed from the promotion for his legal troubles outside the Octagon.

The Kentucky native has lost four straight fights, including a submission defeat to Jacob Clark (http://www.mmamania.com/2011/mma/fighter/136166/jacob-clark) at MMA Fight Pit (http://www.mmamania.com/2011/mma/fight-card/82303/mma-fight-pit-genesis): "Genesis" last August in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

No charges have been filed at this time; however, the investigation by Phuket police is ongoing. His alleged assailants have already provided statements and a mediated settlement is likely at this juncture.

Stay tuned to MMAmania.com (http://mmamania.com/) as this story continues to develop. In the meantime, you can hear Junie explain how it all went down right here (http://www.phuketgazette.net/archives/articles/2011/article11741.html).

Sheesh. I feel sorry for his parents. I was going to say something kind of snarky but realized it's just sad to see a human being crash and burn like this.

I agree, he did stupid crap in the house, after he was in the UFC, and now in Thailand. He's a piece of trash.

Doesn't matter. Most people go through life without having anything like this. This guy has issues like this at least once a year. It's not as if these things are happening to him out of sheer coincidence.

Each of us likely know or knew a person just like this in our own lives - always some sort of stupid childish, fighting drama and they blame it on everybody else. The guy is one of those - he's a sociopath.

Each incident is an individual occurrence. This may not have anything to do with his own behavior. It's wrong to rake something like this in with his past behavior.

I know a drug dealer that I've locked up several times, he was stabbed pretty badly once. I arrived at the ER and the nurses, dr., etc., were all like, "yep, another drug dealer getting what's coming to him during a bad deal, etc.". Little did they know he was stabbed by a mugger that he tried to stop from robbing an elderly lady while getting in her car from a shopping trip.

Food for thought.
