VWait, what? With all the GreaSeP business, I've forgotten what happened here. Painkillers?

He tested positive for having Joe Rogan hanging on his nuts, or rather, hugging his nuts.

So, he gets suspened for 9months for painkillers that may or maynot have altered the outcome of the fight? However; golden boy GSP 'vasoline' may or may not have altered the fight gets nothing?
I'm not sure what the real difference is? They both are illegal actions taken by both knowing or not knowing, but still illegal.
I'm no doctor but those painkillers make him impervious to pain during the fight, because it looked like it had a negative effect on his stamina to me..
*is'nt 9 months a tad long anyways for painkillers being illegal or not..

Yeah, I agree with that. Depending how you look at it, they both tried to hide it.

Karo looked out of shape so I wouldn't really say it was the painkillers that gassed him. That hamstring injury must have made big difference in his training. Honestly, he should have just pulled out of the fight.

"Can someone get him a form-fitted mouthpiece?"

Did anybody notice that Karo is claiming he was prescribed the pain-killers while training to fight Hughes? Not that it matters, but it's still interesting to note.

Honestly, I have never been a Karo fan, but I can understand why he hid it if he actually has a problem with pain-killers, as it would seem he does if he still using them and hiding it from people over 4 years after the fact. Regardless, banned substances are banned substances and he KNEW that. So, it's his fault no matter what.

Bailey said recommend fine of 40% of $80K = $32,000.

I'm not sure if he was going to get to keep the bonus. :unsure-1:

I'm not sure if he was going to get to keep the bonus. :unsure-1:He gets to keep it, but part of the motion was that any future infringements would first lose their win bonus, then the punishments would be deducted from the guaranteed money.
