Every year a big event happens in Hyde Park to remember the Queens Coronation, many of the Queens Horses (she breeds race horses) are on show, and there is a big parade with cannons and the likes.

Anyway...this Cannon are hoisted around on gun carriages which are attached to horses much like a chariot. As everyone was galloping across the park to their starting positions, infront of all the crowds something really horrible happened.

One of the horses, called Murphy, who was pulling a carriage actually tripped over, and because he was going at a reasonable speed, when he stopped abruptly, the heavy gun carriage kept on going, and, in essence he got run over by his own gun carriage and all his legs got mangled...and they had to put him down

The Troops and HM The Queen were so distressed that the entire celebration was immediately cancelled.

The Fifty Nineth Celebration of the Accession was cancelled out of respect to the dead horse.
