I love sunsets and I thought ours yesterday was pretty cool. If any of you have pics or videos of the sunset where you live I'd love to see them.

Here is ours lastnight... with audio :D It's about 5 minutes long... but I think it's worth it.

I wasn't gonna watch it because I'm not really into sunsets and all that...but when I heard about the crocs, I had to...

My thoughts:

The screaming kids would have made me go postal...

Did you seriously say, "Oopsie"? What a girl!

The crocs are still ridiculous...

Chuck, I don't have any photos from my backyard, the 6 foot fence would be boring to shoot, lol.

However, I was able to get some amazing shots from a sunset I experienced in 2007 on a beach in the Philippines after a rainstorm passed through. It was shot with a simple 5.1mp Canon camera. They came out really nice though!

Here's an example below and here's the link to the full-size files: http://photobucket.com/philsunset2007

and extremely comfortable. Don't for get that!!

Dear Dawn,

Thanks for all your positive thoughts about the beautiful sunset I watched last night. It seems from your post that your period is about to start. I'm sorry about that. I know that must be a difficult time for you but by now I thought you'd be used to it. You might want to consider some of the many over the counter products availble to women suffering from PMS. I've heard they work wonders and I would highly reccomend you get some. If there is a Costco nearby I might suggest buying in bulk

Have a great day.

Thanks, I was only hoping that 1 of them would come out well. I was shocked that most of the shots came out amazing.

If you want the full-resolution of any of the photos in that album, let me know. The ones on photobucket are much smaller than the originals.

Haha, I always use them as desktop images as well.

Dear Chuck:

I had to have an emergency hysterectomy after the birth of my third child. As a result, I no longer HAVE a period...thanks for ridiculing my deep-seated pain at my inability to bear more children. Unfortunately, Pamprin doesn't cure that...

This picture was taken outside the apartment I used to live in out in Arizona. You can't actually see the sun in this pic, but some of the skies out there are the most amazing I have ever seen.

I am a glutton for Sunsets, and here Sunrises which are as equally spectacular if you ask me!

This has a story and meaning to me anyway. It was in Egypt and i had been working in the Bank for a couple of years. It was watching the sun in all its beauty rise from seemingly nowhere that caused me to contenplate my life and what direction i was headed.

So when i returned home, i handed in my notice at work and went back to University to study History. I truly believe that when you watch something as simple but earth shatteringly wondrous as the Sun rising or setting that makes you know that Science does not know it all and that God is close. When you look into it, i almost feel like heaven is showing itself to you. I can't explain or do photo's do justice to how they can touch you.

Enough words, here ya go!

The Sun just about to emerge, its crazy because how it emerges is just amazes me. It is as if from nowhere, this most powerful and life giving object springs and it is unhindered and unadultarated!

In its full radiance!

Like to me that is a path right to God and Heaven. No matter how cityscapes etc can be beautiful, it is the natural wonders that truly are the most magnificent

Beautiful sunset, Chuck, but my favorite part was the sound of the ocean. So, thanks for the sound! :)

I don't have any crocs, but they look like they'd be very practical and useful--lightweight, well-ventilated, easy to care for, comes in his and hers, and lots of colors to mix-n-match with any outfit. Yeah, they're not so purty, but lots of people sure are wearing them...well except Michelle and Dawn.

Thanks for sharing Chuck!

I've got crocs. I wear them to MMA. Easy to put on/off. Easy to wash off. They do look a little funny, but I don't care. They're functional.
