Yes, this is a real product, as unbelievable as it may seem. Here is their website.

For schlubs who are so klutzy they can't handle a real jump rope. (https://www.jumpsnap.com/?x=bab&gclid=CIKb-cm18KcCFQEHbAodASdNZw)

I personally have a hard time believing that shake weight really works! But maybe I'm overly cynical.

What I personally dislike about all the gimmick products is they fail to mention that 99% of losing weight and keeping it off is due to diet and self-discipline.

Yes, so true!

But the strange things they are selling geared towards that result get more ridiculous all the time! When I saw this jump rope with no rope I LMAO!!!!

I really need to market some type of workout or diet gimmick. People are so desperate for an EASY way to get into shape, they'll believe anything. Lazy idiots.

How about a weight loss candle?!?!?:w00t:

When you burn it, it emits fat burning chemicals into the air! So you can burn fat while you eat, watch T.V., blog......

and for EXTRA fat burning power.....SLEEP with the candle burning so you loose fat WHILE YOU SLEEP!!!!!!

of course, you will need to place a warning on the package, saying that burning candles while you sleep just might burn the whole dang house down.

BUT just think of all the fat and calories that will burn away due to the STRESS of your house burning down!!!:w00t: Wow! It's a win-win situation!!!!!

LOL, people are stupid enough to believe it.

I don't see how the government allows all of these BS products to be sold. But, even the government's food pyramid is pseduoscience for nutrition anyways, so really they're not doing any better.

And of course you put "results may vary" on the box.......take a pic of Kelli about 5 month pregnant and then put a pic of what she looks like now.

Grab some candles from local yard sales.....

Perfect! You go ahead and do it! I'll just take 10% of your sales for the idea!

Flo, I am a proud owner of this product.:ashamed:

It actually is not as dumb as it looks. I bought it to "jump rope" indoors. I have a "real" rope for outdoors but inside the house, it would hit the ceiling. Of course, one could just jump up and down without the "rope", but going through the "jump rope" motions helps build up a rhythm and the device counts the number of jumps, the time and the estimated number of calories burned (plus, it has a cool "whooshing" sound effect). I wish I could still use it but my knee is so bad that I can no longer "jump rope".

Of course! I try not to take myself too seriously. Unfortunately, it is easier to purchase an exercise gimmick gadget than do the hard work of exercising. I am also the proud owner of a commercial-grade elliptical machine that I use as a clothes rack, a Schwinn spin bike with about 1 mile of wear, a nice set of dumbells gathering cobwebs, etc., etc., etc. I do not have a shakeweight . . . yet!

Wanna sell your spin bike and/or dumbells?

Thank you for the offer. I haven't quite given up all hope yet. I am devising a bribery scheme whereby I will buy myself something for reaching certain physical fitness goals. It is pathetic that it has come to that, but I don't like exercising so I have to mix it up somehow.
