Since I rounded up the sponsor for my son's t-ball team we get to pick the team name. So my first idea of course was "HIT SQUAD". What do yall think? Give me some more ideas too! I promised to hold off and making a final decision until after the "draft" to see if the manager wants to give some input, but I want a list of a few for him to help pick from.

No, my son would run around the bases screaming "Obama kills babies!"

Haha, your son is awesome!

On the real, I think your "Hit Squad" is awesome! Who knows, maybe you can even get a sponsorship? :D

Do you have the team colors yet? That will help with suggesting a name for ya.

I can pick a color that is open but I don't know what is open so I'm trying to stay away from a name that is color oriented. The company providing the funds is a bolt supply company but they don't want their name on the shirts, so that's why I get to pick. I was thinking of calling them the lightening bolts as a indirect plug about the source of the sponsorship - one only I and the company owner would get.

Lightening Bolts?

how sad would it be if i sent it misspelled to the print company and they didn't catch it either? 12 kids would grow up forever spelling it wrong.

Reminds me of the people who made the banner in my high school during homecoming week when I was in 10th grade. They spelled it as "sophmore". :duh: Of course, our class faced ridicule all year long, and now forever because it was printed in the yearbook.

Ha! This happened to us too--as juniors when we were decorating the gym for prom...the class president posted a sign on the doors that said, "Do Not Enter Unless AURTHURIZED"....

That one ended up in the yearbook too. Ha!

My favorite name for a sports team came from on here (I think County Mike?) The Stepfathers. Why? Because we beat you and you hate us! lol

My wife and I play on a Coed softball league in the fall. Some of the teams we play against have some pretty clever names like Scared Hitless, Looking To Score, Bells Angels(the coaches last name is Bell).

Although not a good name for a kids ball team, a funny adult ball team name would be "Off Constantly". To hear why, you all would have to PM me.:)

The other team wouldn't want to admit they beat "Off Constantly".

I was using it as a doubly-inappropriate reference (alcohol & a degrading act).

The little T-ballers shirts are small. We seen a lot of teams trying to get big names on itty-bitty shirts and it was sometimes awkward. The last team my boys were on was simply the 'Stars'. It was perfect fit for the shirt and the kids loved it. You could simply call yours 'Bolts'.
