Anybody see the ads for the Shake Weight product? Funny stuff!
I'm putting this in the Woodshed because the product is a joke, but I also wanted to share the jokes about the product. Funny parodies here:

It's not a joke, they sell it at Walmart.

I really do get the joke... I thought similiar things when I saw the female version.. which is just the same as the guys...
most sporting goods stores have this as well.
I tried it for 5 minutes... it's rough..
try extending your arms straight out to the side and use one in each hand...

I saw the commercial, my older brother called it the jack-off weight. lol
I wonder if you hold it straight out with locked elbows if it will strengthen your bicep tendons. I read something before that said vibration makes your tendons thicker stronger, like the guys that do the jack-hammers, they have thicker tendons.

The concept of that is you're forced to use your stabilizer muscles. Basically, it's the difference of lifting weights with a machine where the motion is controlled versus using a barbell where you control the motion and balance of the weight or even moreso if the arms are used independently such as a dumbbell bench press or one-legged squats. Machines use very little to no stabilizer muscles.
