They are begining to celebrate now, although the true 800th year will fall in 2015. What I find most interesting about the video below, is that I know the guy in the video who is holding a copy of the 800 year old manuscript in a glass box....and I know where he got it from.

The person at the 47 second mark is Canon Philip Buckler, he was the Treasurer at Saint Paul's Cathedral during my Tenure, he is now Dean of Lincoln Cathedral. One of the few surviving Magna Carte lie under glass in Lincoln Castle. (Lincoln was the city of my Birth, and where I spent my first 18 years of life, thats how I know )

I assume Rolls as in, manuscripts...you know...like Scrolls  Sounds like of Crime and Punishment if he is some sort of Judicial person. Think of him, I suppose as a Curator of Court House Scrolls

He's nothing compared to the the Royal Proclamator...Garter King of Arlms. He's the man who basically runs Hearldry, you know, who is married to who, and all the coats and shields of their colours! he is a cracking guy...he only appears when someone important dies...and then its his job to read out their FULL title.

See below right after the last post

Now, posh as I am...I SO wish I could sound like HIM
