This is so hilarious...

Shaq is kind of known for his braininess, and we know he's into tech (well, he's really into Twitter), still this seems out of character.

The basketball star just got sued by a former employee for invasion of privacy, personal distress, and racketeering (via Drudge).

Shaq's former IT assistant, Shawn Darling, claims Shaq hacked into his iMac and destroyed emails connecting him with an alleged mistress.

Darling says Shaq eventually threw the computer into a lake and offered cash as a replacement. Then, he claims, Shaq got his buddies at the sheriff's office to frame Darling for a criminal offense.

Darling has a long criminal record, according to Fox Orlando, which casts some doubt on the suit.

The comments are even better though....

Shaq is a sworn peace officer in Florida. I'd like to see him arrest himself.

It's not "Hack-a-Shaq" it's SHAQ-A-HACK!

Will shaq be jamming his elbow into chinese players next year?

ah, the ol' throw-the-computer-into-a-lake attack. a very subtle, elegant hack.

The accuser has a long criminal history which lowers his credibility imo, plus I couldn't imagine shaq having the iq to hack into a computer

Maybe when they say "hacked into a computer and destroyed email" what they mean is:

Dude left the computer on. Shaq opened the email client and began deleting.
In some cases, "hacking" isn't very difficult at all but newspapers love to throw that word around.

Or email it from your work account to a private account...

I would imagine Shaq would have people signing a confidentially agreement. So if this guy did have some emails regarding Shaq's private life they would be of no good to him.

But anyways would an affair really be anything new? Didn't he already get caught up in a couple of those? Maybe that's Barkley I'm thinking of.

He's divorced now anyways, who knows if that was the reasoning though
