Just wondering who all has tattoos and of what. Share a picture if you want. Rockdawg showed his off in another thread so it kind made me curious. I have two that I wish I didn't. I have a heart on my right calf with 12-11-01 inside it. And 4 dots on my big toe.

I know a number of good people on here have tattoos and I don't want to insult them. However, I really loathe this widespread trend of tattooing. To me, it seems like a downward trend towards primitivism. It really saddens me when I see someone do that to their body, especially a woman (call me a sexist, in addition to a classist, racist and homophobe). I'd hate to see an entire generation adopt the aesthetics of a "carnie".

Oh I hate mine. I'd do anything to have the removed. But laser removal is expensive. I have to put makeup over the one on my calf all the time. I would never get another. I was a stupid teenager at the time I got mine. Stupid drunken truth or dare...

Had to share this one. I have a friend named Bob. He has a B on one butt check and a B on the other butt cheek. I remember when he got it. I had been drinking all day and playing golf (noon to about 9pm by this time), was really drunk at the party that night, and he shared it to me. I told him that he was full of ____ so he bent over and showed it to me. Gruesome sight and funny. A "B" and a "B" in 1" old english lettering. Just awesome!

I have several. 1 is my mothers tombstone because I moved from CA to OK and wanted to get it since I cannot visit it. 2 A Christian speed metal band MOrtification had a real cool cover and it sort of represented how I felt in that time of my life. And the other one is a Basketball like skull I got when I played JUCO basketball. Everyone said I turned into a monster when I walked onto the court and it spoke to me. I contimplated them for over a year before I went through with it as to avoid the o the whim. If I had a time machine I would not get any of them but my mom's tombstone. I got them years before they were popular or a trend and do not find them primitive as PTM does but I really think one should really copunt the cost before they up and do it.

I have the laminin cross on my right wrist. It was drawn off of the laminin cross in my avatar. I love it and do not regret it at all. I'm planning to get another one on the back of my right hand that says "The Lords". It's from a verse in Isaiah where God is talking about the descendants of his righteous people, how one will call himself Israel, another will take the name Jacob, and will write on his hand the "The Lord's". I don't want to be an undercover christian. I want people to know upon first meeting me that I serve the Lord. My God is not ashamed of me and I will not be ashamed of Him.

I have a tribal on my left arm. IT started off as a tribute to my fallen war buddy, and my father. Later I added more tribal to it to tribute young Bradly.

I only have the one but I can't post a picture without being banned.

It's on my unit. When relaxed, it kinda says "HOW" in large font.
When excited, it says "HELLO MY NAME IS MIKE. WELCOME TO THE SHOW".

I have none. I've thought about getting different things but could never go through with it. When me and my twin turned 18 we were going to get one. She did I didn't. Now she has 4 or 5 and wants another. As I get older I think I will never get one. The more and more I see them on women the more and more I don't like it. I am a big sissy! (My sister laughs at me. she said you can squeeze 2 kids out in 15 minutes and you are scared of a little tattoo.)

I have several Tattoos

There is one on my upper right arm, that was my first, its a small single oriental character which is the verb "to enter" It reminds me that I have asked for the Holy Spirit to dwell inside me. There is a greek word that sums this up: Maranatha, which is generally what I call it if anyone asks. I got this when I was at Bradford University

My second Tattoo I got down in London, its on my lower right arm. Its called an Ocular Veritas, which means "Eye of Truth" mine is like an eye amoungst some blueish swirls, it reminds me that I am always being watched by a cloud of witnesses and that anything I put my hands to, I shall have to give an account of when the time comes for Judgement.

The third Tattoo I actually got in 2006 I think. Its a Heart inside a celtic shell with flames coming out of the top. This I call my Sacre Coeur and it is indeed on my chest, and people often stare at it when I go into the swimming pool because it is quite large. Sacre Coeur means Sacred Heart.

I already have my next Tattoo planned, it will be a feather a top a scroll and inside that scroll will be the first few verses of my favourite psalm. Number 130, and undernieth will be an old testament reference to my favourite verse in Deuteronomy :) The feather will be the most important bit, because it will remind me of Birds...Birds are really important to me, because they remind me that I hold intrinsic Value....as explained within the Gospels, Christ uses the sale of Sparrows to demonstrate that GOD loves all his creation simply for existing, not for doing, but for being, right down to some of the lowest forms of common life on the planet....like birds. He then says that if GOD feels that way about birds...imagaine how much he cares about a Human being. Apparently we are worth many sparrows  I laugh...but you have no idea how deeply that resonates with me...I dont think people on this forum understand that at present, Jens The Budgie is basically acting as a living tattoo, a daily reminder of GODs love. Thats what Birds have come to represent, they are symbolic of intrinsic value to me....its something for a long while I didnt believe in.

I got my tattoo last year and I have no regrets ...........yet!

But I definately think that waiting until I was almost 40 to get it was a smart move for me.

I'm not sure I would still like something that I picked out when I was 20.

No I've never heard of that. I'll have to check it out. Usually I put cheap liquid foundation on it. Like whatever is the cheapest at the pharmacy. It seems cheaper foundations is thick and cakes on better which is what you need to really cover them up. Mine's not that big so it's not hard to hit it as long as I'm not going to be sweating.
