its almost a weekly occasion for this town, to mourn the death of those killed in action out in Afghanistan or Iraq, or wherever else they may be.

I thought it might be a good idea to keep up to date with this, to remind ourselves that each week people are dying. feel free to plug in the american side of the losses if you come across them :)

All our news outlets cover US fatalities in connection with the ME.

The big difference is that - since the community organizer was elected president - the networks have dropped their "daily KIA totals since the war began". I also don't imagine I'll be seeing Michael Moore do a montage of those brave men and women forming the face of Obama. Guess those casualties aren't as important as they were under GWB...
