...but this time & a race for having domestic violence charges actually drawn up:

CagePotato -

Notable ex-wife Kim Couture has officially entered the "abusing personal assistants" stage of her career — a critical step in the path to divahood (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naomi_Campbell#Legal_issues). As first reported by MMANewsLeak.com (http://www.mmanewsleak.com/rumor-mill/kim-couture-arrested/), the MMA pioneer (in her own mind) (http://www.cagepotato.com/okay-erin-toughill-has-point-about-kim-couture’s-website) got into a little dust up on Friday that ended with her cooling off in jail on domestic violence charges:

Sources report that Ms. Couture allegedly got into a heated argument with her personal assistant at the home which they share and when police officers arrived at the scene, Ms. Couture was choking her personal assistant and that the personal assistant had visible signs of abuse. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police took Ms. Couture into custody and booked into Clark County Detention Center. Sources also allege that Ms. Couture and her personal assistant got into a heated argument on Friday at UFC Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada...

Ms. Couture posted bail and has been released from the Clark County Detention Center and is training today at her all-female gym (http://www.curves.com/). She is also in the process of opening an all-female MMA gym where female fighters can train and assembling an all-female fight team known as the Vixen Crew. It has also been rumored that Ms. Couture is in the process of filming a reality show based upon the fighting exploits of the Vixen Crew.

Legitimate question: What does Kim Couture need a personal assistant for? Is counting Randy's money more than a one-person job? Though this story was later confirmed by Five Ounces (http://fiveouncesofpain.com/2010/06/01/kim-couture-arrested-for-domestic-violence-in-las-vegas/), we haven't yet been able to find an arrest report or a local news report from Vegas — even TMZ (http://tmz.com/) is eerily quiet — so there's really not much more we can tell you at this point. MiddleEasy (http://www.middleeasy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2301:kim-couture-gets-arrested-for-domestic-violence&catid=36:fighters) is assuming that the personal assistant/housemate is a dude, but even that is unclear. The only thing we know for sure is that Kim's reality show is going to be epic. Seriously, with a name like "The Vixen Crew," how could it not be good for women's MMA?

What does Randy think, you may ask?

Resurrecting this thread because Kim is due in court today to answer these domestic assault charges. A webstie called MMANewsLeak was able to get a hold of the police report. The fight began during the UFC Fan Expo where a ton of people saw them screaming at each other. Then the personal assistant left, & here's what comes next:

The victim left Mandalay Bay in a separate vehicle and went to Ms. Couture’s home where the victim had been living for approximately 3 weeks. The victim intended to retrieve her belongings and move out of Ms. Couture’s home before Ms. Couture returned home in order to avoid another confrontation.

As the victim was packing her belongings and preparing to move out, Ms. Couture arrived at the house she shared with the victim. Ms. Couture then went to the victims’ room and once inside the victims’ room, Ms. Couture allegedly blocked the door preventing the victim from leaving and then engaged in a heated argument with the victim, which subsequently led to Ms. Couture knocking/pushing the victim onto the bed. It is alleged that Ms. Couture then began choking and shaking the victim.

When the police arrived at Ms. Couture’s home they heard yelling and what sounded like things being knocked around. Upon entering the victims’ room and they found Ms. Couture standing over the victim in a menacing position (http://www.babble.com/CS/blogs/famecrawler/2008/05/01-07/tom-cruise-on-oprah.jpg). The police then escorted Ms. Couture out of the room and observed marks on the victim's neck. Ms. Couture was then taken into custody at about 4:30 pm.

It seems that the argument between the victim and Ms. Couture stemmed from the fact that Ms. Couture was upset that the victim wanted to move out of Ms. Couture’s residence.

It seems that the arrangement between Ms. Couture and the victim called for the victim to be employed by Ms. Couture as her personal assistant. The victim was to be paid by Ms. Couture and that the victim would have the opportunity to train and participate as a teammate on Ms. Couture’s women’s MMA fight team.

The victim moved to Las Vegas and for 3 weeks, performed the duties as Ms. Couture’s personal assistant. It seems that part of the friction that developed between the victim and Ms. Couture was that Ms. Couture was extremely controlling; she wouldn’t permit the victim any autonomy; and the implication that Ms. Couture wanted something more from the victim than just personal assistant services.

She's a loser and a disgrace. I'm not surprised she's getting a show given the current state of television "entertainment". It says a lot about our culture, doesn't it? Or perhaps I should say - lack of.

Wow. Kind of sounds like the Steven Seagal case someone posted a few months back.

Seriously, it sounds like that young woman was lucky to get out of that situation. The way that reads it's like Ms. Couture was treating her like a personal slave, etc...

Doesn't make any sense that a person with a 50% winning record could be a teacher in MMA. Just think if you had somebody teaching you math, yet, they had a 0 gpa because they only got 50% of the answers correct on their tests.

Trying to mooch off her ex husband's name. Pathetic.

Somebody could be a good teacher or coach and not have a great record. Gary Goodridge has only won half of his fights and I would imagine that he'd be a good person to learn from. This may not be the case with Kim, but there are people that have only won half of their fights that would be good coaches.
