This is absolutely retarded:

He's only 30yrs old & they're calling for his retirement? :banghead:

This is what happens when MMA starts to become mainstream.

That would be amazing! :happydancing:

But I don't think he necessarily needs to switch divisions. Just because Saturday's gameplan didn't work doesn't mean that he can't come up with a better gameplan next time & beat Aldo. :punch:

Doesn't mean that he can, either, of course.

They don't want to see him become another Jens or Chuck.

But I agree it is a little premature.

Jeeze, he lost to a BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD DUDE!!!! It's not like he lost to some f'ing newbie. If I were Uriah, I'd be blogging against my hometown newspaper.

At least some of the comments from the original article are defending Faber: http://www.sacbee.com/2010/04/26/2705053/leading-off-no-shame-for-faber.html

Agreed....

Fabar.. just didn't have the game plan.. and Aldo did GREAT...

Just shows what "the mainstream" knows.

This si a joke. Does thsi writer realize how good Aldo is? Faber will beat anyone else. He'll be back for a title fight in 4 fights

I heard the writer went on some radio show and admitted he didn't know what he was talking about and that he hasn't been watching MMA for very long.
