I admit to being a little on the paranoid side; OTOH, I don't want to put my head in the sand. It's tough finding the right balance. I have things prepared for our pets but we don't really have a plan.

We have a good battery operated radio and both battery and propane lamps. I also stocked up on visquine and duct tape. :ashamed: Oh well, remember after the anthrax attacks and the govt feared a biological attack? The stuff went off the shelves in a couple days.

I've also considered getting some of the Mountain House freeze dried food kits.

lol, I saved it after I read it! At least, I read half a dozen or more of the topics.

You better at least get a radio and flashlight, girl!

Eh, if I can survive a hurricane that knocked out water for 9 days and electricity for 12, I figure I'm set. It's amazing how resourceful you can be when you have no choice.
