This is a video my sister sent me. It's really good, but kind long.

Here's the cop's response:

That was long! I actually watched them both....
I was hoping the police officer would offer some sort of rebuttal to the professor but it seemed like all he did was agree with him.
I certainly had a few points that I didn't agree with from the professor ;)

And Chuck, while I understand that you're saying it may not be wise to carry openly, you're not saying that you believe the government should legislate away our right to carry openly, are you?
You on a fishing trip today Ben??? :D

Sorry, I've been studying for my "Philosophy of Law" class all morning, so I'm in a bit of a legalistic/argumentative mood!

Well he's a defense attorney to begin with so by nature I think he's a POS... but that's another thread...
If I ever did something wrong and was being questioned by the police I definitely see the wisdom in keeping my mouth shut.
However if you're innocent I think talking to the police would probably help them catch the real criminal far more times then it would ever send a totally innocent person to jail.
So... fair advice to the guilty..... crappy advice to the innocent...
IMO anyway
I have seen that one on another forum before and I think it is really good advice. I don't anticipate ever doing anything that could get me arrested but it was still good to see.
