I don't know weather to laugh or cry. The rumors have been circulating for some time now, and I'm still not quite sure I'm sold on it yet. However, this is coming straight from Don King, which has it's good qualities and it's bad ones....

Well, on the bright side, this could actually be good for Mike.

From the movies he did, his resurgence in video games, and then the tragic death of his daughter and the papparazzi clown that he beat up, he had a lot happen in 2009.

Maybe getting back in the gym and getting in shape to work towards a goal, such as one last prize fight with Holyfield, will help him with the constant inner battle he has been struggling with for so long.

If Tyson fights, I will support him.

Yeah, he lives in Paradise Valley AZ and they cracked down on him a few years back for having too many pigeons.

I agree. Holyfield was one of the dirtiest fighters that nobody ever really complained about.

Yeah, it always pissed me off that everybody pointed the finger at Tyson rather than Holyfield. I think Holyfield threw 2 headbutts before Tyson retaliated?

It was at least 2 good ones, but he was headbutting him during the first fight too and they never said anything. Thats why Tyson snapped.

I find that Rock and I actually agree on most things, but that is typically overshadowed by the ongoing debate about Floyd Mayweather Jr.

JB just feels it's necessary to point out what he thinks I don't see, or rather, the side in which my opinion differs from his

LOL, the only thing I remember ever REALLY disagreeing with you about is Floyd.

I wouldn't beat the same drum so hard if you didn't ignore some basic facts in my rebuttals to your view on Mayweather. I said it from the beginning, and I will say it again, my friend. I am not trying to make you a fan of his or anybody else, I'm just trying to present you with an alternative view that exists outside the realm of personal dislike. :)

LOL, my bad, my statement wasn't complete:

"Regarding Mayweather, JB just feels it's necessary to point out what he thinks I don't see, or rather, the side in which my opinion differs from his." I was wrong in thinking it was implied, lol

Holyfield is denying there's a fight scheduled between Tyson and himself:

Holyfield categorically denies Tyson fight rumors

March 16th, 2010

Brad Cooney

8CountNews sat down with the former 4 time heavyweight champion of the world Evander Holyfield. Rumors recently surfaced that Mike Tyson was going to make a comeback and Holyfield's name was mentioned as a possible opponent. Evander categorically denies that he has been contacted, and calls the whole thing a "Marketing tool" to get people's interest up. Evander is scheduled to fight Francois Botha on April 10th, in Las Vegas, Nevada for the vacant WBF heavyweight belt, and still hopes to grab a history making 5th world title in the near future. Check out what else Holyfield had to say in this exclusive 8CN interview.

8CN - Evander tell us about your fight coming up on April 10th. How's training going?

EH - Everything is going good. It's great training.

8CN - Obviously you want to grab your 5th heavyweight title. What does fighting Francois Botha do for you in order to get there?

EH - Well I think it's going to be an interesting fight. He is an aggressive fighter, and he's strong and he takes a good shot. He is someone that I do not have to run after. It should be a pretty interesting fight.

8CN - Styles make fights, so you're saying that he will mix it up with you?

EH - Yes, I think that my arms are longer than his. In order for him to get a shot on me he is going to have to come in.

8CN - How are you feeling champ? You have been around a long time now. Are you still feeling good?

EH - I feel great. I feel better than I have in a long time. It should be a lot of fireworks.

8CN - There was a rumor about a Mike Tyson comeback. Have you been approached by Don King or anyone about fighting Mike Tyson again?

EH - No, not at all. The thing is, if they mention my name maybe they will get people to think that he is really coming back. What would be the purpose of him coming back other than to get Evander. If his purpose wasn't to fight me, why would people watch it? They are using my name as a marketing tool, just to market it. If he wasn't going to fight me, people wouldn't care about him fighting.

8CN - Do you think it's just a rumor, or do you think they are really bringing Tyson back?

EH - Well is he training?

8CN - There are just some reports that he's been losing weight.

EH - Well you can't put things past people. Have they showed him training?

8CN - I haven't seen him training, but I am like you, I am just trying to find out myself.

EH - Well until he gets that weight off (laughing) it ain't happening.

8CN - (Laughs) I guess time will tell champ.

8CN - Thanks for joining 8CN tonight.

EH - Ok then, thank you.

If he wasn't going to fight me, people wouldn't care about him fighting.

This is another prime example of why Evander Holyfield does NOT need to be hit in the head anymore.
