Who wins, and how?

I'm saying Sanchez by KO in round 1.

Crisco

Sanchez TKO round 2.

I like Joe Daddy but Diego is a step above him.

rockdawg21

I'd like to see Stevenson win this one. This would be 3 in a row if he loses and he'd probably be released.

My opinion is Sanchez will be very dominant in the LW division. I really don't think anybody, including Penn, will be as good as him.

Joe Daddy with the guillotine choke!

Crisco
02-17-2009, 09:11 PM
I'll add that I want to see Joe win.

I really hope he does.

I don't think they would release him. He has lost to BJ penn, KenFlo and then maybe Diego.

Those are three people in the LW division that it should be ok to lose too.

Well, what about losing 3 times in a row due to submissions/tko and not decisions? Granted, those guys are badasses, but Joe Daddy got smoked by Penn and Florian. I can see it happening with Sanchez although I'd rather not see him lose.

Stevenson TKO rnd 2.

Crisco

We don't like decision in the UFC. Joe always is exciting.

"Dirty" Sanchez loses at LW too. Next he'll have to go down to flyweight in the WEC.

Diego had a lot of cardio and speed at 170, He's gonna be a fireball at 155. Sanchez via KO. Joe's gonna be crying again.

Diego had a lot of cardio and speed at 170, He's gonna be a fireball at 155. Sanchez via KO. Joe's gonna be crying again. :cry:It depends on how much the cut takes out of him. It's extremely common for a fighter to be sluggish his first time at a new weight, regardless of his cardio in the previous division. Just look at Mike Swick. He got the nickname "Quick" for a reason, but just look at his lackluster (there's that word again, Dave!!) performance against Burkman when he dropped to Welter. He looked like he was wading through water.

Im taking diego by tko in the second. I think he will be smart about this weight cut and have a dominating performance. I think if he wins faster than kenflo and doesn't get hurt he should get the title shot before kenflo since he has a win over him already

I used to really pull for Diego but he has fallen off my radar for some reason.

I used to really pull for Diego but he has fallen off my radar for some reason.

Mine too. I think it is because he was very lackluster in his 2 losses. He just really didn't look into it against kos and out manned by fitch on the ground.

And when he had a great chance to work with gsp and get better from training with him. You have to push yourself against better training partners to improve.

Diego even said something to that effect in the countdown

I'm wondering if 155 will be to small for Sanchez! I'm hoping Joe wins in part cause he needs it so bad!

I'm going with Diego by decision...I would say TKO but I think Joe Daddy is pretty fired up not to lose again. I just can't pick a guy who's main weapon is a guillotine. I'm sure Diego is ready for that.

MattHughesRocks

Joe by sub. Not sure when. Sanchez will suck at 155.

I'm hoping that Stevenson can proove his worth, its MUCH to dangerous for him to lose this in the current clime.

I go for Submission...but a win, any win, will do.

He has a family...and children... :unsure-1:

good to see almost everyone rooting for joe (even though many, including me, pick diego) joe is a great guy and deserves a good win. losing to penn, florian and diego within 1 year will pretty much finish his career at 155. it will show that he obviously cannot hang with the top lightweights and he'll forever become a gatekeeper. i hope he wins...

Daddy's Boys:

Joe Jr. is 6 years old. He is a big brother who loves the Incredible Hulk & his two little brothers. He can also kick some serious buttocks.
Tyler "Tyger" is 4, & smiles alot. His favorite saying is, "Yeah Baby!"
Frankie "Pancho" just turned 2, and trains to beat his big brothers.

Joe Daddy is a daddy once again....this makes 4!!!!

Congratulations Joe!! On Tuesday, April 8th, at about 10 PM PST, Joe Daddy and his wife Maia welcomed into the world their newest baby boy, Maximus Stevenson. Maximus is a fitting name as he weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz.

Yeah, it's pretty unique. But, he's only 26 with 4 kids (2 from previous wife and 2 from current wife), so maybe that's why.
