The news said that two satelites collided outside the earths atmospherre and that what was capture on video was debris falling and burning up on the way own. pretty freaky, because they're worried that the debris that is still orbiting could take out other satelites.

A video next time would help:

Opinion: UFO
Fact: Meteor. If that thing fell in Austin, TX, it would have been found and reported. Nothing has been found and reported, thus, it was a meteor that burned up before it hit the ground.

local news saying the military officials now saying it was not sattelite debris, but a natural phenominan(speeling?). saying it was a meteor about the size of a pickup truck and the density of a peice of concrete..... im wondering if it hit the ground or not... flippin UFOS :ninja:

Got a link? I tried to find an article to see if anything was recovered but didn't. I only looked for a few minutes though ;)

I'm confused. This doesn't mention anything about what happened in Austin, TX.

I'm confused. This doesn't mention anything about what happened in Austin, TX.I know, that was just the best I could do on short notice. If I remember later tonight after classes, I'll try to find the original story I saw.
