The link has a video clip of some footage of the documentary thus far. The film maker is trying to raise $25,000 via donations to fund the filming of Jens's training leading up to his March 2010 fight. If interested, please go to the link and donate a few bucks.

Not going to be easy raising money right now.I gave my donation to Haiti already and I think a lot of other people have to.He may as well shelve it until another time.I read he only had a couple of thousand raised anyway and I think that took a couple of weeks.

$4,652 currently. Perhaps if Tyburn sells all that he owns at a "car boot sale", he can put the project over the top.

Why exactly does it cost 25k to film Jens train?

Is Jen going to charge him to make the doc?

Its not my fault I have no money...if I had the money...I'd give it all to him...but I have...nothing  I am counting on a 300 pound bonus next month...to get me back to ZERO

Reportedly, it goes toward a cameraman, sound mixing, and travel to the Ohio fight.

:ninja: someone tell Jens...that I would do it on my busbi Camera...and all I'd need is a return ticket...and somewhere to board

25K is more then two months of my wage BEFORE taxes :unsure-1: course I think my sister earns twice that in a single month :ninja: perhaps she would share

Maybe you could contact the guy on Facebook and see if he is interested in using some of your Jens video in his documentary.

let me get this straight...you say you earn slightly less then 25K in two months and you are broke ?.....WOW...no wonder you want to move to the States...the cost of living where you are seems to be a bit out of control.

just one other thing...what the heck does your sister do for a living to make that kind of money ?:unsure-1:...i could take a guess but i'm not sure you would appreciate what i would come up with.

Who would play Jens? I have an actor friend who is into mma and is VERY experienced and VERY good who could play one of the fighters Jens may face, how can I hook him up?

It is a documentary not a fictional film. There is a link to it in the first post in this thread. It will be about the lead-up to his fight in March.

Yes. dont forget that figure is before tax. In theory I earn 11K a year (granted there is a slight difference in value...so it would be around 20K in dollars, but the value is the same its just a different currency)

So first the tax comes off...about 70 pounds a month for the council tax, about 100 per month for income tax, perhaps 50 odd for national insurance...then half of whats left goes on rent...then you have Electricity, Gas, Water, TV Liscence, Broadband internet/cable/phone. Then you have the few luxuries I allow myself...namely a monthly subscription to a gym one mile away on foot, and a subscription to fighters only magazine.

Thank GOD I dont have a car, or I would have to pay fuel costs and road tax also.

Dont forget our standard of living is extremely expensive, nearly double yours I would guess, and Harrogate is one of the more expensive places in the country.

My Sister is two years younger then me...She went through a degree course funded by a firm called Price Water House Coopers...its basically an accounting firm that specialises in auditing companies...then she left that and manages finances at Trax Power Station....I dont know how much she earns but its got to be more then 40thousand.

My other sister teaches in the Probation service...she is four years younger then me...and she is probably between 17 and 25K I would guess.

Ahhhh, so you don't have FREE healthcare. You just pay for government-provided healthcare.

ps That is more than I pay for my whole family a month.
