Becky has been hunting for one of these things for a week now ever since Boone said he wanted one of those cakes for his birthday tomorow . She found one tonight and my sister is picking it up when she comes home from work lol.

I wish I'd thought of that first.
How old is your son going to be Mac?

Boone will be 9 on the 10th . Hank will be 2 in april , little bit of a gap lol.

Boones birthday is pretty neat , it is all 1's and 0's in alternating sequence.

I think Wilton has the big Cupcake pan. Walmart carries some Wilton pans and baking stuff. I'm not sure how the silicone works as for easy cake release. Post some pics for us Mac! :w00t:

I hope Boone has a wonderful day! :)

That's a great idea, Mac. What are you going to use for the cherry on top--something that will go with the size of the cupcake? :unsure-1:

 That's perfect. I started to say something about getting one of those big ball bubblegums (you know from those machines), but I didn't think that would be very practical or handy and you might not get a red one.

Be sure and take a picture of your finished masterpiece for us....before the kids get to it!

I had to HURRY to decorate it or the ice cream i put inside i was afraid would melt . If id have been thinking earlier i would have bought a few packs of those hostess snowball cakes to stack around it to look like smaller scoops of icecream. i put m7m's and chocolate syrup all over it , Boone apparantly ate my jaw breaker before he went to bed so i had to use a red wrapped hershey kiss as the cherry . Now its in the freezer.

:w00t: Looks great, Mac! You did a terrifc job! And the "snowball cake" idea is really good. Boy, you're a natural at this.

Except.....you have to learn to hide your "decorations".

My oldest daughter got me one for Christmas (because all the girls wanted it!).
I made it and it didn't turn out great--took forever for the top to get done all the way through and by then the outside was a little "done".

AND it's not nearly as big as I thought it would be (and before Ben says, it, I will: That's what SHE said).

But it was fun--we didn't put ice cream in it the first time-gonna do that next time! yum!

Mac--yours looks great!
