Rashad ahead of Shogun, for what?

Being a mouthy tosspiece on TUF?

I was thinking the same thing; except for the tosspiece (not sure what that is).

Later.

Lol, yes that is an overly English insult.

We'll call him a jackass instead!

Well considering that Quiton Jackson hasn't fought anyone.. and still isn't offically back.. I have to wonder..

Jon Jones was DQ in his last outing (yes he was winning...)

And I don't get how the great actor Koz.. is ranked over Hughes...

Its probably down to him being more active over the last year or so.

And I don't get how the great actor Koz.. is ranked over Hughes...

It prob has something to do with the fact that Kos is 3-2 in his last 5 and Matt is 2-3

Also since 2008 Kos is 5-2 and Matt is 1-1.

Matt was healing from an injury.. or I would bet you we would have seen him fight more....

and.. while I am not as short sighted as some I guess... this does have bearing... Matt Hughes is 44-7-0 since '98, while Koscheck 14-4-0 since 2004.

You do the math...

injury or not he has not fought which is why he is so low.

What Matt did back in 98 has nothing to do with what he is ranked now. When they do NFL power rankings they dont look at the fact that the Steelers are 6 time world champs. They look at the fact that this season the Steelers are 7-7 and they base the rankings on that. Its the same with MMA, the rankings are based on what a fighter has done over the past 2 or 3 years.

Yeah, and Mike Tyson is 50-6-2 with 44 KO's since '86...and no losses since 2005. Nothing to do with today.
